procedure Brightness(Intensity : String);

'd' : if(not(GetColor(577, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(562, 254, 20, 20, true)
'n' : if(not(GetColor(607, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(607, 254, 20, 20, true)
'b' : if(not(GetColor(653, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(653, 254, 20, 20, true)
'v' : if(not(GetColor(697, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(697, 254, 20, 20, true)

end;

Great job :)

i suggest using

procedure Brightness(Intensity : String);
begin
GameTab(11)
case Lowercase(Intensity[1]) of
'd' : if(not(GetColor(577, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(562, 254, 20, 20, true)
'n' : if(not(GetColor(607, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(607, 254, 20, 20, true)
'b' : if(not(GetColor(653, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(653, 254, 20, 20, true)
'v' : if(not(GetColor(697, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(697, 254, 20, 20, true)
end;
GameTab(4)
end;

So they dont really have to read that you can only put the first letter :p

Just to avoid if people type, "Dark" and it's only looking for the first letter:

procedure Brightness(Intensity : String);
begin
GameTab(11)
case lowercase(copy(Intensity, 1, 1)) of
'd' : if(not(GetColor(577, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(562, 254, 20, 20, true)
'n' : if(not(GetColor(607, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(607, 254, 20, 20, true)
'b' : if(not(GetColor(653, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(653, 254, 20, 20, true)
'v' : if(not(GetColor(697, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(697, 254, 20, 20, true)
end;
GameTab(4)
end;

Why, all I'm saying is that he can tone down how random the mouse clicking is therefore making it less likely to make a mistake. There has to be a balance between efficacy and randomness.

haha RSCI has one of these good job though. i suggest not returning to gametab(4); when finished with brightness because everytime someone sets there brightness and goes back to gametab(4) its kinda obvious lol

GameTab(4+random(4)) ???

Jagex_Fagex: If it doesn't do anything, the person writing the script can choose what the next tab is ;)

Kane: Sdcit had already fixed that problem. And he did it the easy way ;) A little late buddy.

Good job phantombmx. Only suggestion is to take out the whole gametab thing at the end so people can customize it after the procedure has gone through ;)

so maybe have another parameter, EndTab?

like
{*******************************************************************************
procedure Brightness(Intensity : String; endTab:Integer);
By: phantombmx
Description: Used to set the Screen Brightness to anything. Use the first
letter of the brightness as an argument.
*******************************************************************************}

procedure Brightness(Intensity : String; endTab:Integer);
begin
GameTab(11)
case Lowercase(Intensity) of
'd' : if(not(GetColor(577, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(562, 254, 20, 20, true)
'n' : if(not(GetColor(607, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(607, 254, 20, 20, true)
'b' : if(not(GetColor(653, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(653, 254, 20, 20, true)
'v' : if(not(GetColor(697, 254)=1908611))then
Mouse(697, 254, 20, 20, true)
end;
GameTab(endTab)
end;

that would work,wouldn't it?

phantombmx

2006-05-02 04:48:34

nah its best just to take out the second gametab, but yes that would work

Jagex_Fagex

2006-05-02 04:51:57

i dunno, i reckon it would be better with it in, it cut's down on the user script, which is better aint it?

phantombmx

2006-05-02 04:54:32

well yes but its kinda.. just standard to have it out :p

Jagex_Fagex
