Hey guys,

Just started out here and I can say this is an AWESOME site!

Anyway I downloaded the SMART MANAGER from this link: http://http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76404&highlight=smart+manager
since I heard that it allows me to bot higher than 6 hrs at a time w/o checking on it which I DIRELY needed.

Anyway, the problem started when I first began to use SMART MANAGER (SM).

Before SM, I used to run a herb pot making script from this link: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75775&highlight=herb, which works like a pro and doesn't usually bug up which I love!

When I downloaded SM and did everything the thread told me (delete settings.ini) I began to use it and I noticed that the script didn't really work anymore. It doesn't automatically log-in for me– I have to do it manually so I disable smart, and when I open my chest and I reenable smart it does the pin, takes out ingredients, makes the pots, and then stops. It's not until I stop the script and start it again manually that it'll run smoothly. Problem?

Moreover, the script began to crash my Simba recently like 2-3 times. I've also ran another script at the same time: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20826&highlight=power. I started it in the morning and when I check SM after coming back from school, I was logged off in the herb script, (at Sw so no randoms) and I was still wcing on the powerchopper, which I should have stopped because of randoms. Also it said that the herb script restarted 2 times while none for the powerchopper. Any ideas to problem?

Another bug I found was that the smart for the herb script keeps opening internet explorers that direct me to my highscores/stats page. Even after I cancel out more keep popping up. My friend said that the new add banner for the 15 spins of sof and 90 membership is bigger than normal so SMART keeps accidentally clicking it, anyone know how to solve it?

Also can someone tell me how to set up the manager so it keeps going after 6hrs and when stuff like client error, too many logins from ip, sessions has ended to restart smart and to keep script going? I heard I had to use something called fail safe and from other threads I heard that it automatically does it… I'm just confused.

SCRIPT PROBLEMS:

Other problems I've experienced with scripts but not smart so far is that for the herb script above by Jeff, sometimes when it clicks on the herb to use with the pot it doesn't click on the make screen. Problem on image.

Another problem is with laakerules's goul script, http://http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73619&highlight=goulhowever I only used it once and it had problems from start. Does anyone know how to change script so that it will drink EXTREMES/ovls, and have a bonecrusher in inventory for prayer xp? Also I noticed when wearing bandos it glitched alot. Scriptor said it was normal for it to try to click on bandos for .5 of a second because armor is similar to gold charms but then said it was fixed. I downloaded latest version and it spends more like 10 seconds trying to click on bandos (myself). Script also says it's lightening fast at killing them, it usually takes 20 secs for bot to realize it killed 1 goul and to find another one. In addition, when the goul moves right when bot clicks attack it moves to that spot and stops for about 30 secs before finding another goul. Another problem is that is there are charms on floor it tries to pick it up when I have inventory full of food, anyone know how to change it so it eats the food so it can pick up charms? I got 50k attack exp in 6 hrs with 83 attack, 90 str, and 97 def. Is that normal? I forgot one more problem that happened but if I remember I'll post

Sorry if I sound really demanding and a leecher. I'm willing to pay if allowed in rsgp for these problems to be solved.

LOL considering your graphics settings, your obviously going to have problems if your running a script anything like what your picture says. Might want to change the settings.

If the script doesn't compensate for lag then it's probably not a very great script.. It should be depending on timers to figure out when to click a spot.

It's not hard to detect when the mixing interface is on screen. I'll leave you up to it.

Different topic, can someone tell me how I can check all the threads I posted in? I swear I posted asking for a script request and I can't find it…

Sorry about the pic I run in fixed with full brightness on, I was using another computer to bot and I didn't want to switch computers so I went on youtube and took a pic off there. That pic WASNOT me.

Woops. I realized that once I clicked on my name I found the threads I posted in. Thanks.

UPDATE:
Also the goul bot seems to be running smoothly but a tad bit slow when I tried it on another account, will try again on the first account with bandos to see if it was just my computer's lag. Bonecrusher+Extremes+Dropping to get charms would be useful though.
Smart problems still happening.

SMARTManager wont effect how the scripts work. That must be a rs update or something in simba or smart was changed.

SMARTManager will restart your script automatically when it detects a RS update on the running bot. Although sometimes scripts are poorly coded (alot of the time) and due to this, you will need to use the fail safe option which you can enable/disable for each script by clicking on the script and selecting properties inside smart manager.

Check your GFX settings too. theres a thread as to what they need to be.

Oh thanks for tip, Won't setting fail safe on make it not restart after 6 hours? Also What is GFX? I thought all I needed was rs to be full brightness and be in fixed screen?

The SMARTManager thread explains what every option does in the first post, so my suggestion would be to read over that :)

GFX means graphics.

And you'll want everything at lowest except for your brightness, which like said above should be maxed out.
