SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

My friend (who doesn't bot) was telling me today that bots are gonna be gone soon and i say to him what makes you think that? He tells me that Jacmob has been going around insta-banning any bot he sees and that he is taking other measure to combat botting. He claims this is why S U O M I is training crafting right now because prices are going to go up. I was wondering if any of you guys have heard anything about this?

I've heard nothing like this but I can tell you that Jacmob and S U O M I, have been insta-banning for the past few days. this is how they work together: Suomi pm's Jacmod to come over and then jacmob arrives banning all botters since they dissappear in a matter of sec after getting reported by jacmob. I know this cause Iv'e joined them and I also put in some reports to ban some people, so watch your backs and if i see you are getting me annoyed, im going to call him over… this is supposed to be a secret but im telling you wat he is doing since i have direct contact with him. Stay safe..

Ahh i see.. Thank you for the warning. I try to keep peace with people as it is, not botting where others are. So you dont know of plans for a more devastating blow against botting? If not ill have to set my friends facts straight. :p

Anyways, Suomi and Jacmob have been heading over to common gold farming places (Black demons, green dragons, sorcerer's garden, etc) and banning them.

I dont see why you should be worried about this because this isnt a gold farming community. The bots here are mostly for making your skills easier to train. If you're worried about Suomi or Jacmob coming to soul wars chest bank or giant spiders or something, thats not gonna happen any time soon.

Jagex's current anti macro detection software: Allow a Jmod to meet with the #1 rs player and ban accounts manually. Tells the rs community that Optimus (Bot nuke v2) will be coming "soon", when it has been about 6-7 months now and nothing has happened.

All this hype is funny. Suomi has these fan boys following him and believing everything he says.

"Prices are going up so suomi is training crafting now". Thats false, go head over to rogues den, go head over to the wilderness, chaos tunnels, and youll see that prices wont be going up anytime soon.

Rofl, but it's no different than what has been going on. Jmods running round and banning. It's nothing really new, just jacmob has a better understanding of what "looks" bot like and where they mostly congregate.

Never the less, they will only target hot spots one world at a time. So nothing majorly new.

What they really need to work on is the Sorcerer's Garden. Every time I tele with my broomstick, my cpu gets raped by lag :|

this is because of system update. these bots always go down when system gets updated…

This is also when i get my mining bots out and start mining stuff because its the only times it is worth my while :D

ive heard this before, i even saw a youtube vid of jacmob and suomi hunting black drag bots, it was like this

the owner (suomi) calls the dog (jacmob) and he goes all happy waving his tail chasing cars

Hope that suomi wont smack monkeys in the near future then :)

Not sure about the thing with soumi and jacmob but, I think there will be another nuke but they'll just make it like that last nuke.

Basically what happened was, the latest bot buster and fps just restored the engine to what it was before the bot nuke. They will then i'm guessing encrypt it again but using a different encryption type.

Back on topic, Jacmob Sounds like he's liking his new job.

Lol can you imagine if Jacmob wanted pure profit now he would open a sneaky Rsbuddy esq bot on the side and sell the scripts for lots haha.

I remember listening to his video about how he was closing Rsbuddy, like it just sounded so lame.
