Well, before I was a member, I would put alot of time into my AIO script. I mean I had a gf back then too, I had classes then too, my life style hasn't changed much but now everything I start, I leave unfinished and start something else. Idk if it was because I didn't have 99 crafting that I was so obsessed with making the most flawless script or if it was something else. I Locally added a bunch of my script to msi, and stopped half way. Its not that I give up because it's not difficult, I can do it but I get lazy. I lose interest. I mean Now I have to get 99 slay and I'm obsessed with writing a flawless script for it (not the easiest task of course) but I know as soon as I hit 99 (which is most likely going to be before the script is flawless) I'll ignore the script. I love helping people. Most of the time I drop my script to help someone write theirs and am to lazy to return to mine and it stays that way for a long time. Idk it it's because of that, because I feel the script is useless or because I'm a member and I've gotten lazy knowing I won't achieve anything higher in the srl community. What can I do to motivate myself to continue to script, will it have to come to de membering myself?

Hand over all your RSGP to me, I think you will get some drive here to rebuild your bank and hence script for it ;)

Yeah after I got members I wasn't sure what to do next even now I feel like I've achieved what I've wanted and my desire to script is lacking, of course I still do it sometimes. And I've noticed others pretty much disappear after getting members, but for me my desires to get 99's still drive me to script

Gucci, that's exactly how it is for me. I'm almost maxed, so what do I do then.

Erik, gp isn't why I'm doing this. I have a 1.8b bank. It was never about gp for me. All skills requiring gp are done. Rest are money making(rc, slayer,and farming are left). Then off to my last 20 quests.

Someone help :(

1. There's literally no script that is "flawless" (unless it's not a full-featured script). That term is thrown around wayyy too often in injection/reflection botting forums and sometimes here too (after ~40min proggies too I might add).

2. Just do what makes you happy, it's your free time. If you don't want to script, then don't. If you do, then script. I'm sure your AIO Crafter is decently functional, it doesn't have to be "flawless". And, if you make 99 slayer from your script, then I'm sure it would be at least functional enough to be beneficial to others.

Either you're going to want to continue or not, I don't see how being a member or not changes anything. It's not like members get free massages with happy endings everyday for free for being srl members.

Probably should change the title to something more appropriate, kind of seemed attention-whorish to me before I read the OP.

I don't want to sound cocky but have you tried the script? =P havnt heard of any proggies less than 6 hours unless unsolvable random comes up. Anyway, no I'm not asking for attention, I'm asking for motivation. What motivates you?

As Far As I Know, no it didn't.

My suggestion is that you forget scripting for the time being and try to improve your knowledge on Pascalscript.

Make sure you have every advanced function in your back pocket and then start contributing to the SRL Include :)

You're only a member ;) Work your way up, work on randoms, get your name in the include. There's tons of stuff you could do :)

That's exactly what I am currently doing :P

At the end of the day, being a member means you are proficient at scripting and are keen to help the community. It is still just a title at the end of the day. Being demoted so to speak won't do much other than change your name colour and some forum visibility.

It's all in the mind. Work on something like randoms or find a script that isn't really done and try your hand at that.

To be honest given that I have just come back I think I should just go back to a Jr Member…

Anyhow, usually when I'm in your position I take a break. I usually play runescape legit for a day or two, since I'm guessing you haven't done that in a while and have been scripting. However, sometime in between that one or two days of legit playing, I come back to my senses and ask myself "What the heck am I doing?" And then I start scripting again.

well you could stop using the account you have almost maxed, and start a new account. Then write scripts to be able to get it from 1 to 99 in every skill. if you can do that then you might want to find a different game

My lvl 3 pure got perm banned. Had almost all non combat 99's except dung summoning slayer farm & pray
