AFAIK, there isn't a public JB :(
Whos waiting for one here?

Meh I don't update my iPhone much with Apples crap, I think I'm on like 4.1.2? ;o anyways JB for life :)

When I get home ill see if I can find one that works. I keep all of the jailbreak software and firmware on my computer. Im sure there is a tethered jailbreak right now but im unsure of the untethered jailbreak.

Yeah the trainee at my work is still waiting for a release

Luckily mine is on 5.0.1 or whatever so I'm still jailbroken :), Might be a while, there's a warning 5.1 critical every time I open cydia saying it could take a while for a new one. Also a few new apps have this new feature that can tell if your jailbroken and refuse to work, Skype being one of them :/

I'm still on 5.0.x as well :D

And you could just download an earlier version of the apps on your PC and then transfer it over?

Yeh I have done, but it's kind of annoying for bugs that are left in the older versions to be honest.

You can downgrade using ur SHSH blobs and a-b apptickets.

I suppose so, but nevertheless it's better than having no app whatsoever.

Me i freaking updated to 5.1.1 from 4.1 on accident now im waiting on untethered for Iphone 4g

There is a tethered one but not a untethered

I have a 4S, and I don't care if it's tethered, my phone is rarely off anyways.

I'll check in a few hours probably. And btw Brandon you can't downgrade them unless you have already saves the SHSH blobs on the version you want to downgrade to. You used to be able to shift-click restore in itunes and choose the firmware you want but that no longer works sadly.

untethered jailbreak for 5.1 will be out in the end of this month, im currently on 5.0.1 waiting for JB to come out and then ill update to 5.1

pod2g is a good guy :) think what would be without him, almost no1 would buy iPhone. because unjailbroken iphone worth nothing, all the tweak from cydia and all apps from installous.. makes iPhone a perfect phone.

Definetly, my 4S is pretty useless without Cydia haha.

good news!

yea, the tweak makes your iphone more powerfull ;) i have lot of shit installed from cydia and my iphone looks awesome with them.

Can't wait till tommorow!

Well, few hours ago upgraded my version from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1
jailbroke it and installed same tweaks that i had on prev version and im started to notice small freezes/stucks when opening settings ( the animation shows up, stuck for 0.1 seconds and then continue ) my iphone 4s works like iphone 4 now.. i think apple downclocked the cpu so it will not use battery, it can explain the sudden freezes while opening apps
