Hi yall, since runescape that we loved if pretty much boring now, I'd like to ask yall for advise on a new game to play.

What I am looking for:
1):Role playing, medieval style with level and adventure (quest, magic..etc) based. Not something primary intended for pvp like gunz. It can have pvp thou.

2):Freemium, so free to play, or a one time purchase fee. Its ok if it has a subscription for extra content but it would be good if the subscription content is 10 bucks and under.

3):Should be quite big player base, aswell as the area to explorer should be big too.

4): It would be nice if I can play it on 2 gb ram and a i3.

Thanks yall! And I would also prefer there is no offical RWT by the game makers.

I'm looking for the same thing, but not some high-end graphics game. I like the simple graphics like RS. If someone suggests one to you, do drop me a line Main.

Thank:) And I am looking at AION atm.
It says the 3.0 is free to play, which is AWSOME. And they have more subscriber base than rs (3x).

The only down side I see would be each character would have to be stuck at a server. Which I guess its fine, just not as good as rs hehe.

Tech spec:

Hmm the tech specification is very fair, Core 2 duo is recommended for "Advanced graphics".

I'll check it out and keep yall updated then :) Thanks thou tal :)

EDIT:
It does have RWT

Ditto on what Flight says. Why can't we have a modern MMORPG that looks like the RuneScape of 2004. Feels truly medieval.

Guild Wars 2

Its awesome. I played in closed beta (on friends account) then pre-ordered to play open beta(s). I can't wait for next beta it's an amazing game.

There's jumping skills and dungeons (mario style / Halo style) some are very hard.
The PVP is amazing.
You dodge in it like Unreal tourny.

Damn it now I want to play again talking about it.

E:
Oh and it encourages exploration you really don't grind its a waste of time. You also don't pick up quests you just automatically enter one.

Terra.
Don't waste ur money on WoW, they are just milking it (just like Jagex is doing runescape atm, basicly selling gold to players)

Terra is an upcoming (just out of beta, or nearly launched, not sure) MMO.
GW2 is amazing too

I've heard alot about Guild Wars 2, is it really as good as people say it is? Looks like WoW to me… Would it be alright to play solo, or is it more team based?

Nothing like WoW (other then its a fantasy mmo). You don't pick up quests to turn them in for example you just come into a event (it encourages exploration) and really you don't grind at all. When your in combat you can actually dodge any attack if your good. By double tapping WASD you can roll in that direction and dodge an attack (like some FPS on computer). I love it, made playing squishy Elementalist OP for me. :) It's active combat every fight.

I don't mind the games you have to grind, infact that's what I'm accustomed to playing. After all, we are a Simba community; who said anything about us grinding?

I'm use to grinding too, but its a different kind of grind. Don't get me wrong it does take time to level. You just have to do events to do it the fastest.
