Spambot Handling, Please READ SSRL!

Okay so.
It's nice to get them banned, but it's annoying when their threads are left open, bumped, or even closed and still existent.

I know SSRL can infract which is great and gets them banned/stops them from posting more and I like it.

But from now on, can all mods tick the thread(s) by each bot, choose the delete as spam option, and then select ban user AND delete all threads/posts by this user.

It's just a few simple clicks which bans user, and deletes all posts/threads by user.

All of the lingering spambot threads just create clutter, and a lot of the newer ones are getting bumped by idiots with stupid remarks.

Thanks,
YoHoJo

If I overlooked something or there is a better way to handle these let me know?!

What does this have to do with SSR? Maybe I didn't understand something :p

I think having the system do it would make it easier for you guys.

Eh I originally made it SSRL because I wanted to tell SSRL to stop infractbanning the spambots and just letting mods handle them since we can do the fancy ban/delete all thing. But then I changed my mind since banning then at least stops them from making more.
@Kyle, what do you mean have system do it?
I mean I've seen lots of threads suggesting fixes but not sure if any have been implemented/work?

If a user is banned for being a spam bot, then all threads/posts created by that account would be deleted.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

That or when they are banned all threads by user are reported automatically so a mod can just go through and check them off then delete real quick.

Would it be too hard to change the registration progress more complicated so that the bots couldn't create accounts. Aren't we now using something that a lot of others forums do so the bots will easily know how to register?

There are devices you can pay for to do captchas as stuff and the bots use them.
Idk about what kind of plugins are out there but a keyword search would be nice, a lot if them post very similar things as each other.
