Ive been wondering, what is the fastest way to make money in runescape? I want to keep in non-members and I want it as hands free as possible. Would it be mining iron ore and coal from the mining guild or cutting willows and yews in draynor or mining normal essence in varrock or what? I want to know what the fastest way to make runescape money is because i sell that money to rl friends for real money, so i want whatever is the fastest. So what would be the fastest and easiest money making strategy be?.

I'd Say Willows And Yews In Draynor. Although Fast, Essence Are Worth Like 30 Ea…Iron And Coal Might Be Close Contenders Though If You Have High Mining…

Yeah, i currently auto wc willows and yews in draynor, but it takes so long to get 60 wc for yews so most of the profit is from willows lol.

I mine alot of pure essence, I make about a mil a day using wizzups ess miner.

But to get just 1 mill, you will need to mine 33,333 normal essence. That is a lot of essence.

If you say you make a mil a day mining normal essence, that means you can mine 33,333essence in just one day!?!?!?! Sounds impossible.

eh i dont really auto to much for money but i mostly use ess miner by wizzup? i can get around 500k+ a night but then again u use miners with rune pics soooo yeah :D

It seems hard to belive that you people claim you can mine like 16-30k essence or more a night……..Is that even possible?

Wow, but i would proabably mine normal ess with bronze picks though because it would be a lot easier and less maintanence. Does it make a huge difference or just a little one?

But whats a faster money maker if i keep it running at school and at night, normal ess miner or willow + yew cutter?

But mining pure ess is a lot more work because you need membership, higher lvl mining, and i want whatever is the fastest and most hands free. That way requires a lot of work so ide like soemthing more like woodcutting or mining norma less because it is requires almost no maintanance.

Isnt setting up the memberships and stuff annoying to you or no?

Do it once … it just automatically takes it from the CC each time payments are due.

And you dont need a higher mining level to mine Pure Essence over Regular Essence … Pure = Members Only, Regular = F2p Only. Both require level 1 I believe.

Well, For Pure Ess you need lvl 30 mining… Rune Ess is Lvl 1 Mining … Getting lvl 30 ain't that hard actually.

Money making eyy?
Well at low lvls wood cutting and mining ess is simalr at prices both around 30ea. When a skill is above 60, you start making more money. E.g Coal sells for 150-200ea And Yews sell for 200-300ea. Therefore woodcutting gives morecash in later stages but you have to think about where the closest banks are? For Yews banks are quite far, but for coal its next door. So its up to you to decide…

well i love my army of autoers, so i make sure they have the best gear (rune/addypics) and make sure i lvl them up till like 31 minning at least before i start minning with them and right now i have like 6 minners for ess all with 40+ (i think lvling their cb right now and dont remember) so i mine the ess pretty fast. wizzup?'s ess miner has worked wonders for me and can easly get me like 15k ess a night.

What do you mean by "constricted"? I added an other incase it wast up there, but what else can you do to make mone ythats not up there. I guess i should have added flax and pure ess, but thats not what i want to do for making money because of all the extra work needed.

Most people are saying mine iron and coal, but i dont see any good bankers…..unless they are in the members section. Are there any good iron and coal bankers? If so, then that would be good i guess but if there arent any reliable ones out there, im sticking with wcing. The mining guild is lvl 60 mining, isnt it?

Eh, for you guys saying mining guild, I don't really agree. The mining guild is Just a big trap for your players and you WILL get banned. I'd say willows(then yews when your high enough), or mining and banking in varrock.

So you think this is a good plan for money making:
1. Make 10 chars and do rune mysteries on all of them.
2. Use a chicken killer on them until they are like 20-30 combat each
3. Leave them mining normal essence with bronze picks until 41 mining
4. Give them rune picks and let them mine more.
5. Every 2-3 night, transfer all the ess onto my main

Or if there is anything that should be added/removed/changed or maybe this isnt the way to go at all. I currently just woodcut so idk much about what to do the other ways.

EDIT: Woodcutting willows is hard because there are soooooooooooo many people in draynor cutting them already. And, are there any really reliable yew cutters + bankers because all the ones i see in the free scripts dotn work that well. Are there any good ones in the members section maybe.

Im sorry, but im bumping this thread because im still not satisfied with the answers becuase htye are all even. You all think differently about what is the best money maker, but i know there can only be 1. My quote above is for mining the normal essence which is only 1 vote ahaid, but im not sure if this is the right think to do(in my quote), but maybe it is, idk. Ide just love ot know what to do so i cna make my army and start the money flowing in lol.

i got 3 players, soon 4 players cutting yews in edge.. i get 1000 yews a week..

I would say auto mining to 60 then auto smithing to 48 and beyond…

Ok, im going to go with norma less mining i think, but one question…..Im going to give them rune picks at 41 mining, but how long should i wait before taking the picks off of them? Or do you just leave the mpicks on them until they get banned.

The cost of a Rune Pick will soon become nothing to you, depending on the amount of characters you use of course. If you're that worried, stick with addy pickaxes untill your financially comfotable. Im going to give pure essence a try now, solid script and it should bring in a lot of money.

Make sure to take precautions when transfering your essence to your "Bank" character.

If you run all of them like ~30 minutes a day, then chances are you won't get banned for a long time, if ever

Get 60 wc then use VYC by Sumilion (payscript on mopar)

Quick question, I never cut trees so I don't really know…are yews and willows in high demand? I mean if I go to World 1 with 1k yews will I get a ton of buyers instantly, like with nature runes, rune weps/armor, swordfish, etc?

if you auto smart, they wont get banned for a long time.
and i would suggest not using 1 script, try them all (willow/ess/iron) and you will look less like autoers anyway

Its runescape, what cant you to with money in that game. I made 80m+ legit, but i got my purple phat scammed a couple weeks ago, so im autoing now :p

I was thinking of using all the money, and I'll need 20-25m to buy iron bars to get to 85 smithing. Then probably keep autoing to get money which will be used to get 99.

I really wanted to auto with a guildminer last night, to get to 70 mining. I'm 68 right now and need ~2.5k coal..but I was afraid I'd get banned, and all the work I put on it.

I auto mine ess.
had two accounts for near a month.
first got banned because of not using a srl script lol.
the two accounts are lvl 52 mining.

Atm i'm training them to 40 atk 30 str 30 def.
so they can wield rune picks.

started up 2 accounts the other day.
no mining level, just training there combat.

You shouldnt care too much about investing on them as you will get alot back from them.

Buy a set of pickaxes for all players. 2-3 should be enough really.
so 2 steels, 2 mith, 2 addys and lots of runes lol.
they should be going up to the next pick level every day or two.

but using a bronze pick at level 30+ is just a waste of time.

I'm going the same route as you, but I'm mining all my ores. So far I have 6k irons which has gotten me to 58 mining

Pretty much my plan but i intend to use it not to make money, so to level 20 im mining tin on 10 and copper on the other. Than im using a powerminer to level to lvl 40 with iron in the scorp mine. and than vem iron to 60. Thank god i have a copy from when he first posted it. Its quite an amazing little script, talented chap aint he.

4.) Get them all to Varrok and start the autoing
5.) Check back every night to move the ones who are dead to varrok and move the ones who are lost
6.) Every 5 nights or so, transfer the iron ores onto my main
7.) Once they *all* hit 60+ mining, off to the mining guild

If anyone thinks anythign should be added/removed/changed from this, please say so. Also, would it be better to leave them at iron forever or is mining guild better once they are 60 mining?

I say mining coal in the miner's guild, i make about 80k/500 coal. I use the MiningGuildRaper.

My Plan:

Train 20 guys to +25 first with Chicken Killer and then Goblin Scheduler.
Then do rune mysteries.
Mine essence until 15 mining.
Use powerchopper to get 25 WC
Train the army 30+ and buy addy armours & weapons
Then Mine essence to mining 25 (=lots of essence)
Powerchop WC 40
Mining 30 with essence.
Powerchop 50
Powermine 40
Powerchop 60
Powermine 60
Then powermine & chop 65
Buy mining guild miner (mopar)
Make army mine coal.

If 1 Coal takes 15 secs to mine.

8 hours x 3600 = 28.800 / 15 = 1920 coals x 200 = 384.000gp
And with 20 guys i think I should be able to mine 12h every 2-3 days
12h = 576.000gp

Well that's my plan. I hope it works :p

I think that guild mining is the best, so I said other. You get coal faster than you get yews, because they are easier time wise, and once you are in the guild there is usually no demand by other people for your specific rock. Also, because of the lack of players in the guild, especially at night, you have virtually no chance of getting banned, and there are no interruptions! Only problem is it can take a while to get some accounts to 60 mining.

You should train other skills too, so that your ban chance would go lower (sry if here's typos i'm writing my eyes closed…. so tired -> going to sleep…)

Ok, it depends on what kind of money you want to make.

TBH, RSDemon could actually make you a ton of money if you had lots of yew cutters ready. Otherwise, it's a waste and just ruins f2p.

Another option is to head on over to rscheata.net and get supporter, then run 5 chars at once using "EyeOfNewt" which buys eyes of newt from Betty and banks in Draynor. You can then sell the eyes on the forums for up to 200 gp each. And with iBot PRO, you can run multiple accounts.

In 1 night, on 1 account, I obtained 2.5k eyes. Just 1 night. About 11 pm to 7 am. It never got lost, got any randoms, or died.

I left it on at school the same day, and came back to 5k eyes. I repeated again to 9k eyes and sold all for 175 each. Lots of income.

Imagine that but 5x faster. :)


But on your poll topic… I would have to say mining iron + coal. Although woodcutting is very close, you have to take into consideration that the runescape trees are currently under siege by RSDemon. Using SCAR, profit would be minuscule compared to what the RSDemoners are pulling in.

Iron would be the way to go, I've heard the Mining Guild is just a trap and gets your army banned and time wasted.

I, personally, am working on an essence army. I'll mine normal essence until I can afford membership pins, then I'll upgrade to membership and pure essence. Then I'll be in the money :)

#2 they are easy to mine and fast
#3 close to bank

If you wanna do it for money, do multi-accs. Ess miners work good :/.

I think smelting bronze bars until lvl 30 and than steel bars would be very fast way, if you buy 1 iron ore and 2 coal (or mine), smelt them and than sell them, you will get 110-140gp for 1 bar. for 1 bag it is 110-140 * 9 = 990-1260 and it takes (in AI Kharid) 1min or less.

I like this way, because you don't have to do much work to get smithing to
30 and if you take breaks often (30 min or less) you will not have big change to get randoms :p

I think smelting steel bars is faster than mithril or addy, because you need more coals and that means you must walk much more. And for rune… you will just lose some money…
