Lol he used an IP that he has used before. He obviously doesn't know what mods can see.

Mods: Should I ban him? If I do, he may know that JAD told, and then would run and make it harder to catch next time, although he did use an old IP.

Yea I saw that post too. He's not just doing it to help others, he doing to make himself look good. Either so that he won't get banned, or so that he can build up trust again as a good scripter, so he can caused more damage. Besides, there are plenty of people that could fill his place.

yes. very true. though what he's doing is jsut making himself more suspicious in my mind. its like when you fall through ice, to more you stuggle and scramble to get out the worse it gets and more likely you are to die. Heres an idea. If we ban him, or ban all of his IPs, he'll just proxy his way in or just reset his modem to change his IP right? So, heres what I think we should do. Not ban him, not tell him we know who he is. We just keep a close eye on all of his posts, and if he posts any malicious material, we'll delete it. Because if we ban him and he changes his IP, there maybe no way of finding out who he is again without me needing to do this dirty work :D Better to know where he's at then not know at all.

Thats why I think we shouldn't tell him we know. If he finds out we know what his account is (regardless of whether we IP ban him or tell him we know) then he will just proxy his way in and we've lost track.

As painful it is to read his posts and think of his smug smile behind the screen, we should just keep an eye on him and reject his apps.

The point is, if he were to use a proxy server to get in, the ip would not match with his old one. So that means there would be no way of finding him At all So we need to keep him on that account, where we know where he is, as long as possible (in my opinion of course :p).

There is no point at all to banning him, he would just make another account with a different IP address and there would be no possible way of ever finding out what account is mage of begu's ever again. So, if we ban him, theres no way to monitor him in any way once he makes a new account.

That's why we're gonna let him stay, then deny all of his member app's for an unknown reason

It does, but there are a LOT of people to register, no way of telling its him unless you have a super secret spy like me, or ip matches :p

Just ban he and his IP, if he comes back with proxy or different Ip and re-registers just take a call to his ISP and say he is spreading keyloggers in our forums.

Omfg, another SRL member trying to do same what Mage of Begu did. I think that guy there is not Mage of Begu, I can see it on his longevity bar. But style how he hides password sending looks a bit same what Mage of Begu had in his script.

But how come people aren't suspicious when they see ''You have to allow to connect to blabla. It's for this and that…'' I mean wtf… It's like giving yourself out right away.

But some scripts legitimately have to connect to check version numbers and auths etc.
Besides the last guy only had getpage() which can't send anything, right? It just returns text…

Are you guys sure you're not just on a witch hunt now? I got his version he posted on mopar's, and I'm 90% sure it isn't sending passwords or user-names anywhere. The post said it hadn't been updated since March, so I don't think he quickly removed the old version and put up a clean one.

Trust me, this version was definately stealing passes.

I looked at his mopar script too and it seems to be clean. If you want a cave fighter then i suppose it wouldnt hurt using the one on mopars. Just make sure he didnt edit it.

I also checked Moparversion, it is clean (unless changed it now). But I also didn't find the code that was stealing passwords, I used Ctrl + F and typed Username. It went to spot where updating part was, but however there wasn't anything to do with Username, is it hidden somehow?

Thats okay Sum, I don't usually use other people's scripts exactly for this reason. I just wanted to make sure this guy was actually guilty and we aren't now just on a witch-hunt to ban anyone whose script interacts with the internet.

yea, that's why I wanted to make sure they had proof cause I didn't see any from his one on mopar's. I guess the version here was different.
