Rules: doesnt have to actually be a working GUI but can just be a gimp or other art program used to make it.


Rewards: I will be giving a simple reward to the persons that i think is the best and such. Or if the community shows great interest towards one then i will choose that one.

I read that post and I'm working on some design ideas on Photoshop :p

Ya, wasnt sure about that. Weather or not if he cares if its gimp photoshop or any other graphical engine.

Orange to represent simba. Black to look clean. And gray blends in nicely.


Also put the start/pause/stop buttons on the bottom. And on the left bottom you can also see what script you are running.

@ JJ it's for the Simba client not SMART :p

I like yours better than my Yesterday's design.. Maybe without the scroll bars I'd like it better. I'm pretty sure u can still scroll with them off. Or make them thinner.

I'd enjoy this too. I'd throw a giant image in the background of my client. Give my eyes something enjoyable to look at, as they strenuously look at what's being typed away. :>

Oh I thought it was for SMART xD Oh well, it seems my design has been added, so SMART might get a new design aswell? Might aswell get both SMART and Simba new designs to match again ;)

I like the way it looks atm, quite professional and classy.

I like The blue theme, I'm a noob when it comes to graphics :P

That blue theme is super sexy.

Damn, can't see any of the themes haha, will critique once I get home.

Maybe applying the orange color scheme to the blue design plot with the waves and gradients? I think that would look really great personally :)

Give me 2 Days! I'll have mine up(cause I want to give it a try), huge headache today, need rest. Bleh.

I'd enjoy throwing images behind mine @ will/having them alternate, with a set opacity/filter over the needed typing/debug area's;

^ yeah I bumped that thread last week :)

I know they are just ideas, but what is with all the high contrast colours? Really hurts my eyes. :(

Anyway, my opinion on the matter is that Simba is just as much of an IDE as it is a botting platform. It would be criminal to force a theme that is so different from operating system defaults in this case.

I don't really think it needs a new look. Simba functions fine as it is, and isn't hard to navigate at all. I agree with abu that the website should be of higher priority.

Id thought Id post my progress before I completely give up.
Already had one made, but accidentally was closed by someone who used the computer and was never saved *sigh*.

I think it's fine just the way it is.

If anything, color themes could be added that don't actually change the layout, just the colors of the backgrounds/text. That would keep it nice and simple :)

I do have to agree on why changing, but it was fun trying.
