Ok, so I have a text layer with a stroke around it….is there anyway I can erase only the bottom of the stroke…


I have cs5

Zoom in to your text
Select the Eraser tool
Hold shift and erase the bottom Stroke

^^ No luck, jsut forms the stroke around it…

EDIT: Ok here's a solution.

Create a new layer above your text.
Select your primary colour as your text colour.
Make a very small rectangle which covers the stroke.
Merge the layer.
Repeat for each letter in your text.

put on a gradient on the stroke that is around your text and make it fade from your color to clear, but have no fade if you dont want one
