Standards could use some work and, based on Rich's comment, you copied the only function that uses TPAs (which was a major factor in your rejection on the Gilded Altar app..) High activity and fair longevity. Holding my vote for now.

I believe we do not like to see the script getting editing during the application trial… Whatever script you apply with should be the final and not change unless you left your password or such.

Also Patience there are many other applications out there, so relax a bit.
Btw, I voted no, due to the lack of complex functions and many reasons have been stated already. Also not a big fan of coordinate clicking, you can do better by using DTMs.

Try adding on RRW/DDTMs/Autocolor…etc. Your on the right track though! Keep it up and good luck next time Mate!

Some people (including myself) prefer applicants to not update their script mid-app, although there is no rule stating it.

At the end of the day, ACA is a handy tool which is there to be used, just make sure to not over-do it. There's no reason to not include DTMs. Who was the advise from?

While this is a good point, I think I don't really see people using RRW/DDTMs for their applications. The only time I can remember someone impressed me with DDTM was sir eska's and it worked well, but practically even experienced scripters like us often just turn to ODTM/SPS for simplicity, so I don't really see a point of adding it to pass the script quality part of a members application.

Ontopic: Evlin/John, while it's a good try, I guess others have pointed out you can further refine your script logic. You are doing well and I am sure you will make it to members in the future.

I think I also see you around in the community quite often, it's a good thing and keep it up!

Keep it up man, you're getting there! :)

As for ACA, use it as a base to see how the AutoColor works. Then, play with it and modify/create your own. I love seeing custom TPA/Autocolor methods, even if there are minor flaws with them.

Hey John, I looked through the script and although the script itself may work, its overused. Too many people apply with a Nature Crafter. Its not a complex task. Your activity is fairly good so that's not the problem.

Also whoever said don't use too many DTM's didn't know what they were talking about because its safer than using co-ords.

Next application, Hit people us with something really nice and unique. I passed my application with ~180 posts and a AIO crafter which at that point and until this day, no one has made (not difficult to make but unique). Nature and Astral crafters are not as attention grabbing as they used to be but don't get your hopes down, if you've proven yourself then you shouldn't have a problem.

function OpenBankCw: Boolean;//
Please next time create your own banking function, I get really mad when I see someone taking a shortcut. TPA's are so much more safe to use.

ACA, Can be used but I've seen people abuse it in scripts, as soon as a member spots it they usually vote no.

Also, Don't bump your application because for some reason bumped application threads go to the bottom of the page. The higher it is the sooner it'll close.

I would love to see some good failsafe's though. Don't get to complex with failsafes but make sure they really work. Put it through every obstacle you can possibly think of to make sure it runs nothing less than a 6 hour run. Take some of the advice you got from here and you'll get in for sure next time!

Best of luck to you!

Yeah if your going for simplicity. If the applicant is trying to impress members they must be able to show skill. The script overall is simple, having a custom bank finder would be quite a plus for me. Even a simple customized procedure would show the understandimg and ability utilize the SRL library because you can't always get away with precoded includes? Unfortunately The failsafes don't work as good as they used to? Sorry if it sounds confusing. I have trouble putting my mind in words :P

Whose banking function is that?

Isn't it meant to be closed after 2 weeks?
I made the function because, I opened the bank ALOT and it was making my script messy so i simplified it.
The actual Bank Finder is not mine, it's from SRL Include.
Only reason i asked for it to be closed is because i thought they could only be open for 2 weeks :p Sorry Abu.

No, I'm not saying forget about the nature rcer. I'm saying something unique would make for a better application. The srl include are there to be used, and you can release it to the public like that but the whole point of posting a script with your application is to show your understanding of SRL. Remember: In the applications we are looking for the following types of people:
  1. People with good attitudes
  2. People who are willing to contribute
  3. People scripting with the SRL include
  4. People following SRL guidelines - Multiplayers, breaking out of potential infinite loops, Antirandoms, Antiban, good scripting standards etc.
