Hello ladies and gentlemen.
I've been registered for a couple of days now, and loitering around for about a week. I found villavu and Simba whilst browsing for a way to make Runescape more interesting to myself, since a friend tried to get me back into it after a 2 year absence. I started playing Runescape in 2003 with a group of friends, then got more into it in high school, but gave it up shortly before the Grand Exchange was released to focus on my GCSE's.
I am an IT Technician in England, currently studying for a Foundation Degree in IT. I am new to programming in general (I have been learning Java for about 8 months on my course, and have started looking at C# using XNA Game Studio last month), and am looking for a place to learn more about programming. The fact that I can also use any knowledge within an environment I know (Runescape) is a bonus :). I have also looked at Visual BASIC and Pascal (albeit briefly) in my time.
I enjoy playing PC games, reading, oggling women and drinking tea.
So, that's about it from me. I hope I can contribute to this community.
