If it is, then it's one massive fail.

The icon changes slightly when you take one item out, and then quite a lot when another is taken. Tried it multiple times and it did the same.

EDIT: The same happens with hatchets, ore, throwing knives and I guess much more. Is this new, or have I just been living under a rock?

Been doing this since the first "nuke". Is a glitch according to Jagex, but they don't seem to care enough to fix it.

I think you've been living under a rock mate! :P I noticed this quite a while back! The idea to mess up bots didn't even enter my mind :S

There is a similar effect when changing equipment. Sometimes your character will get lighter or darker when equipping something. It was happening to me a lot with glories. I would equip one and my character would be suddenly lighter.

It actually started occuring a year before the bot nuke… I recall watching a Youtube video concerning this same thing a long while ago >.<

This is a secret attempt to mess around with color bots but you can say that this is a fail since we are still able to script anything with logs or items..

Wow… doing useless updates on the lame graphics and can't fix these small so called 'glitches' lol.

Jagex is just trolling us. Little do they know that a TPA would just obliterate it. I don't like to use DTMs extensively so I have never had a problem with this. I never even knew…

Nah DTMs work fine. Just miss the left part of the log and make sure you get a good amount of points on the bits that don't change.

I did left out the left part and make quite a number of points. It only works 80% of the time. But that only applies to runecrafting pouches, not sure about others.

Been around forever, it's a glitch with all flat/inventory/bank items, because it's just stupid and ugly even legits don't like it, it's not purposely done.
