Just wondering seems in the time i have been watching simba (the last 5 hours) i have had around 7 randoms…

Depends on where you are. If you bot in SW for 1 hour straight and then walk out the portal, you get insta-randomed. If you bot for 6 hours straight at CW, it's somewhat random that you will get a random. Maybe it's just your luck? :P Lay off botting for a while and legit play. After a week start again and see what happens.

Seems like you either failed a random/logged out of one or someone reported you. You should get a random every hour or so or every 100k xp(whichever happens first)

Randoms seem to depend on your experience gains aswell. On my summoning tank I tend to get a random only once per two days. Which is around once in 20-30 hours. I get around 4k xp/h training defence/constitution -> Roughly 100k experience gained gets me a random.

If you are doing skills such as cooking, you will get randoms more often because of the higher experience rate. Not getting any experience per hour at all, does not mean that you won't get any random events though.

Actually, getting no XP at all means you will not get any randoms, ever. So it definitely is related to XP.

How much XP, don't know, but I also think it's a formula depending on how much XP you're getting and what level the skill is.

Training magic using lunar planks spell. been doing it for two days now. i suppose i could lay off for a day and seems that yes i do fail alot of randoms(100 to 110k per hour) I probably have been flagged. Thanks for the info!

I remember when I trained prayer for turm that sometimes I got a random like once every 20mins but sometimes not a single one in 3hrs, I also think that xp has something to do with this

It depents on xp gain and script. Yesterday i was selling big amount of items to shop and I was clicking 'sell' buttom in the same place for long time. No xp gain ,but i got random after it. Jagex detects repeatable behaviors and sent you to random to check if you are bot.
Chance of random decrease if you have 'antiban' in your script - such thing as random breaks ,camera rotation ,howermouse etc…
When I used one superheater without these I was getting random every about 30 minutes.

I don't think randoms have increased.

Randoms are not really 'random'. You get a random every ~150k xp you do.

There something in the script that is getting you flagged for doing same steps over and over. ATM I am using a script at runespan and one thing I do every 45-60 minutes is: say lol and move camera manually and sometimes perform an emote. I can tell you that from 40-75, I had only got 3 randoms.
