As you might know, Mage of Begu has been banned for stealing usernames and passes. This is ofcourse unforgivable. Luckily it was discovered before too many harm could be done. However this still means that Mage of Begu has done / participated in an unforgivable action.

Mage of Begu first got a temporary ban of 7 days so that we could discuss the situation and come to a proper verdict. According to me we (SRL-Management) reached a conclusion. Mage of Begu will be allowed one post in this thread to say anything he desires to say and after that he will be permanently banned.

May we ever discover that he made a new account, then that account will also be deleted. Let it be clear that we do NOT tolerate scamming on SRL. Anyone that tries anything similar will most likely follow the same route Mage of Begu followed.

SRL is ment to be a friendly community that helps where needed and shares were required. Scamming is not a part of this community and anything will be done to prevend it from occuring here aswell.

I'm sorry what has happened…i know how it feels when your account is stolen…if anyone has lost his account im very sorry, i didnt do this…it was my brother and hes not giving anything back, i asked but no…im so sorry for the inconvience this may have caused…!

You couldn't have come up with something a little more convincing? One post and that's what you blow it on?

I gotta say… I never woulda thought an SRL- Member like yourself would do something like that.

Just kinda sad to see you turn around and scam people, after someone gave you their account.

And I think that I speak for the entire SRL-Team when I say that we are sorry that it had to come to this. I would also like to thank you for your coöperation, although I still have my doubts if it was your brother doing it or not, you are still responsable for the account.

wow when he lost his account i felt sorry for him

and he made a huge deal out of it… i was considering giving him one of mine

and another thing i like this site because no one cares about rs cash etc its the challenge of scripting

I'm absolutely disgusted by you, and I do not believe for a second that any brother of yours did this

Consider this, if your brother likes runescape and stuff, why does he not auto or have an account here?

Your brother also knows Scar Scripting, why does he not have an account here? where did he learn Scar?

And why did he have your password? you should keep your password secure

Any, if your brother did steal these accounts, why did he tell you?, if it was me, I'd keep quiet, "oh yeah, it was probably a keylogger or something, it wasn't me"

I understand that your account was stolen, but that does not justify this. two wrong does not make a right. Would this scam get your account back? I think not. (Would any person use their scammed account for autoing?)

Jagex has always been telling its legit players that all macros are filled with spywear and keyloggers, well done young man, you've proved them right.


Yakman is not impressed.

You got some good points, though he said he accessed his account because he made his computer auto-login.

Plus the whole dudersaurus membership app thing. Boreas is not impressed either.

Of course scamming is unforgivable, and he has also been banned from moparisthebest.com/moparscape.org as well, which will happen every time a scammer is uncovered. :)

As a note to anyone who may have gotten scammed, never let SCAR connect to a website unless you trust it 100%, if you ever run a script and SCAR says it is trying to connect, stop the script and either check the script out yourself, or have any developer check it out for you. There really is no good reason to have free scripts connect to webpages anyway.

I would like to believe MOB.. but I too have my own doubts.. I was just wondering, Why didn't you IP ban him? because you wouln't need to delete any accounts he might make then and be on the watch for that.

Thats horrible… and that is a stupid way to end your time here. "it was my brother's fault" i agree with everything yakman has said. This community is a friendly one, and its just supposed to be a nice environment to be in. Im ashamed…

As much as 'It was my brother' is really in league with "My dog ate my homework", I'm somewhat inclined to believe him. I mean, why would he do something like that? He had it going for him; SRL Members, his own website… maybe he wanted revenge on the person who stole his account, but I just don't think he'd do anything that…stupid.

At any rate, what's done is done, and I'll be sad to see the back of him. I guess we'll never know if it was his brother or not after all. I am…undecided. (note first person perspective usage)

A guy with 1k+ posts on sythe scammed me for 3mil rs gp… and you say they should be trusted… They just play good guy until they gain your trust, and then first thing you know when you turn around, they stab you in your back… it's low! I FUCKING HATE SCAMMERS!

Stop blaming your brother, even if it WAS him and NOT you, you shouldn't come here and expect people to believe it was him so you should automatically blame it all on yourself and THEN try to apologize.
I clearly read on the first post that if you try to make an new accounts you will be banned, you are happy to proxy your way back or change ISP or get a dynamic IP address but try not to mention that you are MoB.
Also, if you're wondering I was going to speak up for you until I read that you are blaming your BROTHER yet again.

I did not proxy, i did not change ISP but yes i have dynamic ip address. The only reasons i have come back to these forums are because i needed to remind myself about scripting. Im playing Hero OnLine now so i made a bot for it.

My opinion, neither Sandstorm or MoB or Iroki should've been let join again, what they did is unforgivable and even if they apologize, they shouldn' be allowed back.

Sandstorm & iroki : I have nothing against you personally, just can't accept that you did such a thing and are alllowed back. You are nice guys (i think ? unless you are going to backstab again ?) but you were worse than anoyone probably could be.
