Okay so i got hacked AGAIN and i was like hmmm….maybe it's simba. But then i traced the ip and noticed it was (14.156.14.59) from china or something. I recalled the bad grammar of the rarebot admins and thought it just might b rarebot…………soooo i scanned the .jar file and walla!

It might be a false positive but i looked up an exploit.java on this site: http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/exploit_java_blackhole.shtml and it basically says that old versions of jdk are exploitable and in order 2 use rarebot u HAVE to use jdk 6…so idk it's either rarebot or simba cuz those r the only 2 rs related things i have on my comp since my last comp cleanup….also check this out…same issue: http://ww2.sythe.org/~sythe/showthread.php?p=10672072

Also for anyone that says don't put username and password in the settings - clearly you didn't use powerbot when it was working in 4008 or 4009. The bot was capable of scraping username and password from the client and I am sure that any bot is capable of the same thing.

it's rarebot obviously, rarebot has no future because both powerbot and epicbot are better injection bots, so they hack everyone.

/facepalm I didn't think anyone would use rarebot. I read their FAQ's and it looked like it was done by a 5 year old. No bot should be a executable file, RiD and simba are the only exceptions I believe.

Alright thanks for the info, only reason i downloaded rarebot was cuz of their working lrc miner + banking which has gotten me 94 mining from 80 :)

That's the thing dude…i thought rarebot didn't hack and i've been using it 4 like a month…They're not gonna hack u as soon as u use it just so u know.

I got hacked while using Rarebot too. It has some kind of stealer implemented to the bot I guess. Anyway it was no big deal for me since they don't have my pin - only 8k feathers.

There is no "might" here. I can verify 4b of my valuables have been ripped from my many mules. Do you recall rarebot being "offline" for a while, sometime ago? Guess who the culprit was?

yeah it also stopped working since last rs update and i'm pretty sure they started hacking again since then..

This was bound to start now that they don't really have much time left with Powerbot's return they are making some cash on their way out. Simba or nothing!

This has been coming for a few months now, not sure why you would trust it but fair enough… Also there's a perfectly fine LRC miner on here.

Glad I decided to try Simba out and not any of the other clients.

The LRC miner does bank here.

Brought me from 96 to 99, netting me about 11m in the process.

My friend got hacked by rarebot. Good thing he was already poor lol. I used it for a bit and never got hacked so I guess I got lucky.

that bot dosnt hack you, rarebot dosnt hacked u but the script u compile does, when u are going to use a new script use ctrl+f and then search for account if you found a command getaccount}}. dont use it is going to hack u, u dont get hacked by rarebot, u get hacked by the script u compiled.

Don't be surprised. I've never been hacked EVER and then I started using Rarebot exclusively. I lost 46m within a week.

Bullshit I use latest JDK it doesnt hack at all i gurentee iv went through that cleint every update they have pre open api so searching the extra files wasd made easier its clean!

I don't believe they ever hacked you, it seems more realistic its some random script you added which probably stole your account info or some other thing you had downloaded previously around online.

Also do you know anybody you know uses the only 2 random antivirus that detected that? None of the biggest trusted antivirus softwares detected anything malicious about it.

I am going to install rarebot and epicbot on two separate VMs and will see what one gets hacked

hmm could be the script i guess……….idk only script i've used was their lrc miner…and rarebot and simba r the only rs related ST00FS i have on mai comp. And as i mentioned before, my entire computer is clean (as in i'm sure there are no FUD trojans) so it's pretty much a java exploit for sure…e.g: rarebot.

The whole idea of mules is to prevent from losing the wealth… You're supposed bot on an account where you've transferred the wealth from, and thus, the only way whomever could have hacked your mules was if you had the names and passwords in the client (infinitely stupid) or you had them saved in a text file or something (which is also pretty dumb).

But on RareBots site says they are safe! So it must be trueeee!!!111

First comment: I've been botting for years and I've yet to have done that.
Second comment: I've always had full access to the site and I downloaded the client from the site itself.
Third comment: I never said it was illegitimate due to the fact that they were from a different country, i just used language as a clue and connected the dots. I wouldn't have used the bot in the first place if i "assumed" that the makers were from another country.

Final comment: All the aforementioned comments that you made were assumptions, and clearly an incorrect analysis of the issue.

Rarebot was like month before simba. I am using simba for a week or so. I will never defend Rarebot since it tried to hack me.

Crap, i forgot to mention one thing about me getting "hacked". All that happened was that they logged onto my account, opened my money pouch, left the account in the same place and logged out. These guys aren't dumb. You could have been hacked already. The only reason i noticed it was because i always check ip addresses ever since i got a previous hack attempt. Basically, they might have logged on your account already, checked your activity via the login screen, and left your account alone knowing that you'd b back and cancel the pin cancellation request and change ur pass. Most of the people that get hacked usually have crap on when they're logged out, or no pin. Hope that makes sense. If not, just wait…

Lol, it is all about being smart with your botting, I have used ever client imaginable without having an issue, simply use POPULAR scripts, with lots of views, replies, preferbly from someone who has multiple scripts that work. I see people complain about different clients hacking but it is not the clients, its the script makers, you just need to be sensible and look through the scripts, never enter your details into the client ect. Simba has had previous hackers in the past I even check all simba scripts. Its all about smart botting people and checking scripts, nothing to do with specific clients.

Are you implying that I couldn't steal your password 50+ ways using a Java program that doesn't require you input your username and password? Test me, sir. If you want to test me, send me a pm and I'll send you a link. Make sure you have a couple million for me to take away.

you only get hacked by simba if you are a complete noob in programming since simba and its scripts are open source, so you can always check the source to be 100% sure its safe, of course its rarebot, all those bots gotta make money someway right?

Epicbot hacked my noob so dont feel bad. Simba is the only trustworth one you can use.. And i only say that because no one from simba has hacked my account yet. lol

IMO most ppl who get hacked via epicbot or rare bot or pb , are those who downloaded one from other sites or a youtube link .. " fr33 dungpro cracked $$$ epic bot Vip free! " loool.. and once they dont get it to work cause its a "RAT" comes here trys a simba script for 1-2 day and spam that simba hacked them … XD

I have use it a lot and i have never been hacked.

Of course they might, any no reputable botting company might. Just look at pbot and the mass hacking last year. Now everything thinks they're the number one bot client.

Is it really that hard to stay away from injection bots? Its like staying away from a pool full of sharks. Even though it's a big difference since it's comparing real life from a game. But you get the point.

I don't think they can hack.

I only stick to simba and when it was scar.. I used rsbot once and got hit with the banhammer. I stick to where i trust and know its safe.

I'm so confused by how people brought in powerbot and epicbot. Powerbot is legit, unless you're retarded and try to get a "working version with fr33 scr1pts" on youtube, or if you get epicbot on youtube with "unlimitietieited scritzpzpz for phr33" or some stupid shit. PowerBot is legit, EpicBot is legit too, but I don't use it as i'm skeptical about it, and their previous hacking sprees in their "black hat years", rarebot is a piece of crap, dumbed down version of epicbot, that WILL eventually hack you. I didn't even download their bot. Just by taking a look at their FAQ's you can tell their hackers.

They extend the answer sentence of the first question, making you be like "ooohhh, ahhhh..", then reading the next question, its a blunt "No.". They're clearly hiding something. Go ahead, use rarebot if you feel like giving your account to some chinese goldfarmers :duh:

personally dont use rarebot but seems more likely that it would be the scripts that hack ppl not the bot client itself doesnt make sense that they would hack ppl wen they could make more money being legit

This is why I only use open source programs, such as simba. I used to use powerbot, and was hacked during the mass hackings, for about 750m, 200m of which was my little brother's that I never got to pay him back :(
Use open source and ALWAYS scan through any code or scripts you download. You don't necessarily need coding knowledge but if you see something which stores your details, or has a link to a website or email within the code, automatically assume it is dangerous, and check what it says its doing. Occasionally a script will load an image off a site for a progress report or something, but that's about all a website link will be used for. And just make sure to keep your AV updated :)

The only trustworthy runescape bots are simba and robotz in disguise to be perfectly honest.
