Hey guys!

I know that the guide on "how to Auto" specifies that you should use safe mode for SMART, but after loading SMART with a script I'm trying out, I decided to change it to DirectX, due to the recent performance updates and the fact my computer runs RS perfectly with it on with minimum.

So far its been botting with 9 minutes totally fine, But i'm not so naive to assume its because it must always work.. my question is, why shouldn't it work and what may cause it not to? is it simply due to colouring or is there something else?

Direct X has more detailed objects and stuff so its a bit harder to script for.. I want to know how you even got smart to run in Direct X..

Mine constantly says "RS Couldn't enter that graphics mode"..

I've thought about doing this myself, but decided not to since im not a goldfarmer and don't need to run more than 1 account.

I ran the script, when SMART logged me in I paused the script and changed it to DirectX.

not with Kyle's runespan script, no. not tried any other.
