Okay, so I go to college and currently live on campus. My wireless internet is balls here so i prefer to use the wired connection which goes straight to the wall port so i have no control over it what so ever. My problem is that I can can connect to the wired internet for like 4 hours then randomly it stops working for like 3 days and says Unidentified network, no network access. I have tried literally everything you can think of to fix this. Any help would be appreciated :)

Do you know who maintains the network? I would talk to them.

When my my comp says that, The router is usually unplugged,
t or needs to be restarted. Also happens when the net gets shut off by my ISP.
Good luck.

it can be several things..a conflict between wireless and lan connections, firewall, ect, disable wireless connections and delete all your saved connections, try to connect using lan only.windows 7 and vista also causes some conflicts.what are you using? IPv6 and IPv4 could also be your problem

can you just get your own connection? like have your own ISP hook-up your own personal connection? if you can you can always find a few people in your dorm or your roomates or something who wnat to cut in on the connection.
you could also call a few ISp's and price out like a wireless internet connection? like threw rogers i can get a wireless rocketstick that i can plug in anywhere and use it. might cost a bit extra but you could always set up a dumby account to bot some funds to pay for it? or you could do the same thing and find somebody to cut in with you?
