So in the Behind the Scenes-May, I read that there will be a new boss named the "Queen Black Dragon." I am soo excited for this update, and right when it comes out, I am so going to kill it :f:

The Queen Black Dragon (Members-only Epic Boss Fight)

Sometimes it’s best to just run away and thank your lucky stars that you’re still alive and kicking. For those crazy enough not to heed the warnings scattered all around the known world, there’s a real beast of a challenge waiting for you. And it’s big. Really big. In fact, you could fit 5 King Black Dragons in the mouth of this mother of all dragons! The kin won’t be far away either, so be aware that your actions will be watched…and noted for future retribution.

This new boss fight is aimed squarely at mighty combatants with a combat level of at least 120 - higher, if you intend to survive. It's also designed as a solo fight, so no hiding behind your friends as you run screaming from her vicious breath attacks. In the heat of the action you’ll be expected to grasp tactics new to RuneScape, but there are some great rewards for those who do…including the fabled dragon kiteshield, a range of new dragon-orientated gear, and a host of other drops. Dare you scale the heights of one of our greatest challenges yet?

Finally, a new boss! And it's meant to be solo'd too :)

My 138 combat will be put to good use for once. Hopefully i'll get some drops and cash them in while prices are insanely overinflated when it's released ^_^

I made 150 Ovlerloads and going to be gathering stuff for ~100-150 super antifires. Hoping for a Dragon Kiteshild on the day of release! :)

Bought a few sets of torva, I am expecting the price to skyrocket!

I bought a set of Virtus, Pernix and an Ely.
But I'm probably gonna lose money since I can't get on RS :(

Yeah :D Don't worry, just stock up and the prices will go dramatically high.
I am also investing in brews and prayer renewals.

Considering the way they hyped up the Fight Kiln (needing 90+ stats, high end gear and overloads to complete it, pures have done it easily.) I can't really see QBD needing End-game gear. Sure hype will cause a rise in armor/supplies but after people realize how easy it'll be, it'll all crash.

I guess because I'm not much into PvM or bossing I'll never lay eyes on this boss. Infact the only boss I've fought, besides those found in quests, was that Bandos general… and I died.

I'd much rather skill, but I wish you "bossers" good luck in your hunting. :D

Too bad it is more dragon trash. Come out with some 95+ weapons/armour. Thanks for info.

Tbh We need a Boss that actually takes tactics, like Death wing on wow, now im not saying go Wow style but add some hypes in there that require quick thinking, not just hit hit hit, loot, hit hit hit, loot.

I don't expect to need end-game gear, just sticking with my Bandos for now, however I do expect the QBD to have a fire breath attack that has to be manually avoided (meaning she aims it and it hits through shields/antifires and you have to run to a new square to avoid damage).

I just enjoy taking on these kinds of challenges. Also, I wouldn't expect there to be so much hype rise for this as there was for the Kiln. The Kiln was hyped up by Jagex, whereas, so far anyway, they have not so much hyped up this boss (120+ combat as a general requirement is fairly simple to get now-a-days). I guess I'm just glad its a solo boss that I won't have to fight with others to do.

queen black d is gonna be MAD INTENSE. good thing im like 4 str 2 def and 3 att lvls from full max cb it'll be a challange but ima solo her and see what happens

i dont think so, but has always it will depend on stats

Hopefully I can get my hand on some dragon kiteshield :D

It's too bad that the Dragon Kite is probably going to be outclassed by existing shield slot items (i.e. spirit shields, dung shields, and dragon defender).

At least it will be a good way to make some cash for a while ;)
