Just curious to why simba does not create injection scripts? I don't really know the basis or how it is different to colours. Only asking this because an EpicBot scripter has released an 'idungeonpro' beta, and it works…. To my knowledge injection and reflection were both completely removed after 'bot nuke'? Any knowledgeble heads feel free to enlighten me!

Injection/Reflection modifies and reads hooks etc in the client code to find item's/objects and to walk whilst Simba uses advanced color algorithms to do those things.
Also Reflection and Injection are Illegal and Simba isn't.

From my brief understanding… I believe that Simba will always retain its reputation as a color bot, as color bots have always been able to perform basic tasks; some complicated, in Runescape. Injection bots complete extremely difficult tasks, but are extremely unreliable as Jagex is always updating the game, and those updates always seem to update the injection scripts, so that they are unusable until the creator updates it. Injection is also "illegal"? I believe, unless you follow certain standards. It's not illegal to use it, but I believe the creators do have Jagex breathing up their necks.

ahh that makes alot more sense, someone tried to explain to me how exactly they work and that simple explanation makes alot more sense. So by using colour they are more reliable and less-prone to the 'breaking' that injection/reflection recieve and simba is also in let us say 'free' because they are not actually doing anything illegal. Makes perfect sense now, thanks alot! :D

Sorry to say this, but Simba is "illegal" as it violates the TOS of Jagex LTD.
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify any Jagex Product client software in any way (except to the extent allowed by applicable law). You must not use a modified/customised version of the client software or attempt to sub-license it. You must not create or provide any other means by which any Jagex Product may be played by others (including, without limitation, replacement or modified client/server software, server emulators). Please note that any such activity may constitute civil wrongs and/or criminal offences, and Jagex reserves the right to take such action as appropriate in the circumstances should it become aware that such offences are being committed.
rbd banned, you may want to remove that link from your signature if that is you main. (The Runetracker one).

But from what has been said, isn't colour scripting legal by law? It is reflection and Injection that are in fact illegal by law? I understand that botting is illegal through Jagex's TOS, no matter what you use.

I did not understand what he meant by "illegal" but I guess he actually meant illegal haha! Hence why I put it in quotes.

It's not illegal to break a Terms of Service, unless you're breaking other laws as well (possibly DMCA). However, you still could get a civil suit for breaking it anyways.
In either case, I don't see in that quote what Simba could possibly apply to? Simba does none of those things, and SMART simply loads the client in its own JVM; it doesn't reverse-engineer, decompile, nor modify it at all.

And according to that, Simba is completely legal. Only SMART breaks the TOS.
Injection interfacing with Simba is in fact possible, SMART as far as I know doesn't have the ability to read hooks through injection but it can read client data through reflection. If we were to use injection a new modified client would have to be written or it would have to be added to SMART.

But if smart is "illegal" already why dont we make it good for injection too? Will it make it more illegal or is it a ton of work?

If people want injection, they can go to the injection clients. Simba is a color client, and we will always be that.
Yes, we had Reflection in the past, but since the path Jagex took against the injection/reflection methods, I highly doubt we will ever support it again.
SMART isn't "illegal", it just breaks the TOS. Also, what level of thinking is it to say, "Well, since it's already 'illegal', let's make it even more illegal."?
