I keep getting PM'd because I give rep+ which turns out to be neutral rep instead. How much rep do I need to give legit Green or Red rep? And could that please be added to the FAQ

by looking at the link above,

One blue/green box, 0 - 9 points: "YourName is of an unknown quantity at this point"
One green box, 10 - 49 points: "YourName is on a distinguished road"

it seems you become a distinguished entity on this forum once you hit 10 rep points. so i think once you hit 10, then your rep power goes to 1. maybe im wrong though

Just to let you know, if the users Rep Power is 0, you get a blue box when they rep you.

If you go to www.villavu.com and log in it will say your rep power which is how much rep you give someone when you rep them I think. I think it increases as you gain rep/boxes.

My Rep power is 0.

So if a registered user rep+s then it doesn't mean anything? Not even somebody with lots of post count?
EDIT: NVM I got superninja'd while AFK

Not if they don't have rep. I'm a registered user and my rep power is 1. You just need a certain amount of rep before you gain rep power.

Nothing wrong with it, sometimes I go on phases when I just rep so many people on a thread that I run out my limit for 24 hours :p

Please do not abuse the reputation system as it is only meant as a bit of fun. If the reputation system is abused, it will be disabled.

So like masterBB said, only use rep for what it's designed for, as not doing so can lead to infractions.
