So i'm writing a script that should make about 2-3mil an hour, but im having some trouble with a couple of things. I need a partner that can at any time help me,look over the script, or write the functions for me if i can't. I will then try to sell,(btw partner i get 90% profit if not 100%) after wards i will release it in the members section here.

I can help where needed, although, I'm not available during the day because of work. Tonight and tomorrow night would be best for me to be honest.

Do not offer money for help, if people want to help, that is fine but it must be free, otherwise it is illegal, when you bring money as an incentive/motive, it becomes script selling. A script is code.

I need partner to help me write frost dragon script, I wrote the beggining but some things I dont get, I plan on selling this script to others so I need a partner because of that, I might not know how to do everything but that is where my partner comes in, we will write the code together and if I cannot write a function, you will write it for me, I also need you to baby sit it and do testing until it is stable enough for sell, and when I sell it I will not keep 100% of the profits, I will only keep 90% so you get 10% ;D so what are you waiting for, come help me and I give you 10% of profits.

So you are buying code[script] with money[% of profits], that is a clear script sale, and this would allow many people to go around the script selling rules easily.

I could post on the help section:

I need testers for Sudoku script, everyone who joins the testing program will need to donate 100M to the project and you will become a member of this project's developing crew with access to its code and everything, the donation is to help with the developing costs of the project. Disclaimer: This is NOT a script sale, I am selling help to myself.

No it's not, as already discussed on IRC. You've complained in the past that you helped someone and they sold the script, and you were so angry at them, and said you should of been compensated.

He's approaching this as any business would.

<mixster> Sounds like he's contracting out a script though, which I'd put in the same basket
<mixster> which most likely means he wants someone else to write it
<mixster> people on villavu don't require payment to help
<mixster> anyway, I don't think it would be beneficial to the community to start a meme of requiring payment for help
<mixster> If he's offering the possibility of money to just look over what he's done, then why does he need to offer any incentive? There's people who'll do it for nothing
<mixster> If he needs enough help for the other person to be morally entitled to some of the money, then he has paid for the script
<mixster> Anyway, Ninja`Office is wrong and I'm right, now back to boring tracerouting

Discussed and proven true on IRC, that you refuse to accept you lost the debate and you fail to listen to others opinions on the matter is a whole new story.

Way to only quote mixster, and not anyone else, manipulating the facts to fit your argument ;)

I just wanted to spare your honour

<Ninja`Office> Cause if he sold it, you would bitch
<Ninja`Office> Like you've done in the past

If you want me to quote you too, there you go, are you happy now?

I am totally disappointed about you, honestly, do whatever you guys want, why should I care about a community where people get treated like crap.

Where are the quotes from Jason? I don't see why you only quoted that one part from me, when there are tons of quotes you could of posted.

Also, like I said in IRC, I wasn't calling you a bitch, but that you would bitch if you helped someone with a script and they sold it. (Which you have done in the past). You can change the word bitch with rage or be angry and it would still make sense.

P.S. Like I also said earlier in IRC, I didn't mean to get upset at you, it's this medicine I'm on.

He is allowed to sell his scripts away from these forums…?

There is nothing wrong with what he is doing, it doesn't break any forum rules.

What's wrong with saying 'help me with the script and you'll get some off the money I make for it', it's not as though he isn't an SRL Member, he does know how to script and he isn't selling on Villavu, just asking for help and offering a little something in return, which the helper can decide for himself whether he/she wants to accept or not.

He is buying code on Villavu, what happens to the code produce from this sale is irrelevant, the sale itself is illegal but I already said they can do whatever the fun they want, I am done caring.

Now stop posting about whether what he is doing is right or wrong, if you are going to post at least focus on the OP and the purpose of the thread. If you want to fight, go fight in BBQ.

Wanting a partner to write a majority of the working and intricate code and then offering 0-10% of profits is an insult. If all you did was the script structure and minor things, then the person could do that on their own and claim 100% of the profit.

Probably should be at least 80/20 going the other way.
