well bassicly i wana try and get a fire cape for the first time but im not to sure on how i want to do it

91 def
90 str
95 hp
99 range
89 mage
76 prayer i dont have temple of settistine done so i dont have new prayer
dont have overloads

should i mage it range it melle it? and what gear should i wear and yes i have seen sins new guide hes making for fight caves so please and thank you for your help :)

Wait for one or two days so that I can get a Ranged guide up.
For now, try and use my Void mage.

You don't have the stats to melee rush it, so don't.

You can just do the regular method of range with diamond bolts (e), switching prayers.

you could try the ganodermic tanking method, basically you wear the ganodermic armour so the absorb half of the jads mage attack and just pray ranged. use a polypore staff, ganodermic armour and the rest is upto you, this seems like the easiest way to me as i can't switch prayers. good luck! :)

I didn't even bother with it until I had the levels for melee. I can't stand spending 2 hours in the caves when it can be done in 45 minutes with melee.

theres several recent(new sounds ect) guides and vids on youtube .including polypore method.tanking,you can get to jad in no time with your stats ,so i would concentrate on jad attack sounds and how to deal with healers,flasks and poly make it much easier,lag free world and log before jad if you need to watch how to kill before you attempt.. dont panic lol..

This is very jumbled…
but yeah just watch videos until you are familiar with it, then go on a lag free world. I would personally just spend the 2 hours rather than multiple attempts at tanking.

im just having a debate with myself if i should mage it or range it i got 99 range but only 80 mage and i heard the polypore staff is amazing against jad and my mage equpiment is better than my range equpiment

I dont think its very smart to melee Jad. From what I hear its a garantee kill. Main reason its best to mage/range is because when you trap Jad jad he only uses 2 attack styles against you so you only have to switch between 2 prayers. Where as if you melee, then you have 3 styles to pray to, and a much higher chance of being killed. Since you have 99 range, Id much suggest using it, with diamond (e) bolts.

I myself have only tried killing Jad once. This was a few years back. I used guthans to melee and heal to the very end then used range. Got jad to half health, when he summoned the healers I paniced and got killed.

Thats the main thing when doing this. TRY NOT TO PANIC. You'll be fine.

Range is slower then mage. Your stats are good for either method. It doesn't really matter which you choose. I prefer magic. Go to tip.it and look at there minigame guide for Fight Caves if you need a guide.

Tip.it's guides are pretty mediocre. I would search around youtube for something better.

Use polypore staff and use ganodermic armor with a dung shield/elysian/spectral/divine.

Then brew flasks, super restores, vecna skull.
