If anyone could create an update form creation tutorial i would be extremely grateful. The only tutorials i have been able to find are on Scar and are very outdated.

Most of SCAR's form functions are exactly the same as Simba's, so most of what is in the SCAR form tutorials is applicable to Simba. Try this tutorial:

I would also suggest just reading code from other people's forms. It's one of the best ways to understand how they work.
