Anyone else gotten email from RuneScape about 'Mad May'? You think its legit or some scam/phish?

Since the timer on RuneScape forum is ticking for something special(about 8 days), could it really be true?

There's also some countdown timer in the forums. Last I heard no one knows what it's for.
