Cheeky little guide

Hey guys! Haven't been here for a while, but I stumbled across this on the net and thought some might appreciate it. It was written in chav when I found it, so I kindly translated it to normal English. Pretty much an easy way to have a decent chance at winning some prizes online. Legit stuff run by Windows, no pikey crap. Anyway….

Go to http://www.gybo.com/oregon/

Click "Get Your Free Website", sign up to Google, continue, fill out details, etc…

At the very end of Intuit, it'll ask for a credit card, use a VCC (at your own risk).

You'll need to wait a maximum of 24 hours for it to figure itself out.

You have to have a published website, so if you're using Intuit just choose a template in the web builder and press publish.

Sign up for GoogleApps.

Go through what it wants you to do, put in your information and go to verification. Make sure to make it an email you'll remember.

Choose an option which says somelike like "choose other method of verification".

There will be an option called "meta-tags".

Login to your Intuit web builder.

Click "Page settings", and then "Advanced settings".

You will see something that says "Add HTML or Javascript" and underneath that a box which next to it says "<head> tag HTML", paste your meta-tag that Google gave you into that box.

Publish and save.

Now go through all the rest of the setup on Google. Eventually you will get to setting up Gmail. Follow what it says.

Log into Intuit on a new tab.
Click "Domains" -> "Advanced DNS settings" -> "Edit" -> Add MX settings".

Right, you want 4 rows of boxes, with "@" in the first box of each row, followed by your domain, and
Row 1 - "aspmx.l.google.com", "1"
Row 2 - "alt1.aspmx.l.google.com", "5"
Row 3 - "alt1.aspmx.l.google.com", "5"
Row 4 - "aspmx2.googlemail.com, "10"
where the number is the Priority, and the rest is the boxes to the left.

Press save on Intuit, or whatever it says along those lines.

Back on Google, go through the rest of the setup.

Go to the top-right on the panel, and select "Settings".

Select "email" on the left side of the page.

Scroll down to the box which mentions "catch-all" emails.

Put your actual Google email address in the forward-to box.

Save.

Log into another email account and test it by send a random email to random@yourdomain.com then log into your domain email (the one you entered on Google) and see if it arrived. This could come in handy anyway, for like account creating or something like that.

Now go to freetimemachine.com. They are running a promotion (related to Windows in some sense) where you can win all sorts of stuff. Each email address can only enter once per day, but now with what you've done, 1@yourdomain.com, 2@yourdomain.com etc. will all go to the main email.

Also, I've noticed that once you've entered a specific email address once from a specific IP, you don't need to do the captcha thingy again for that email address, so a script could be made to do it fairly easily once the emails have been used once before. Also, an auto-fill app of some sort would come in handy for when you're doing the competition.

So…that's it! Easy.

Also, you get a free domain, so you might actually want to name it something you could make use of.

I could use this just for the free domain :p

And I'm guessing this falls under some type of fraud for the VCC, but w/e nobody actually gets caught for that :p

Don't be an idiot and get in trouble for credit card fraud. Just register your own cheap domain and just use Google Apps catch-all, much safer.

Hmm this seems like it will come in handy trying to mass register Rs account's for me considering it would take out the time of going through the process of registering email's :)

It's up to whoever reads this if they want to do it or not.

Or just pay $10/year with say godaddy, get free hosting, and a catch-all email.

All my rs accounts are a name#@domain.com

All emails go to the same catchall address (when i made my 100 or whatnot, i didn't need to verify them).
