So to start off, i'm going to say that Toxin had nothing to do with this.
The name was my idea, he just provided the funding, so if you want to take your anger out on someone, let it be me.

To put it simply, greed got to me. Similar to members who were banned because they chose money over SRL, my dreams of walking in Pernix/Divine outweighed my value of SRL.

However, looking back over the past five months that i've been here, I realized that no amount of gold, whether it be RSGP or IRL cash, could replace the time I spent here.

Me and Toxin agreed to change the domain/site name to ToxSinScripts, even though it cost us an extra 15$. That investment is more than worth it if it'll get Members back on good terms.

I/We will not advertise on Villavu again, neither will script sales on Villavu ever be mentioned from these fingertips (since we're typing :p).

We will still continue to sell scripts, yet will not advertise on Villavu, only on lesser sites such as Sythe, RiD and MMOE.

So in short (tl;dr),

• Sorry
• Won't happen again
• Changed domain name

The domain name sos.com sold for millions, because of its name.

All depends on how many people want that name, if it is already owned.

Otherwise computers have no way of telling how valueable it is..

If it was not a previously owned name, then the 15 prob also includes hosting?

Domain != Hosting

And it doesn't matter how much disk space or bandwidth you have, I can guarantee you're still on shared hosting (that's not a bad thing for smaller sites, just saying).

Dedicated are usually several hundred per month.

However, if you actually need a dedicated server (hosted or personal), then I'm sure it's just another expense for the money train.

I absolutely don't regret it, it's an amazing piece of machinery, and is well worth your money.

You could probably have a Mod on Sythe change the title of your thread to ToxSin scripts if you'd like. I'm friends with Govind, so if you can't find a mod to do it I might be able to have it done.

You understand there's really no problem with you selling scripts on Sythe, but claiming them as "official SRL" might raise a few flags. We're not asking much, just a name change. :/

Yeah Smurg, you're really getting on my nerves with bashing the script VIA Sythe first of all, second of all, I wish I personally had access to deleting the freeforums myself because I would have done so, I haven't even bothered to go to them or re-visit them seeing as we have new forums. Everything, other than just the 'domain' has been changed in terms of the website end so I mean you really could do us a favor and just screw off. Honestly.

As of 3 days ago when I posted, their forums were still directed to the SRLMarket forum. Now it seems they have other forums up. How would I look at the wrong forums when I only used the the links from their homepage and forum posts to get there?

That's not script bashing, no where in my post did I bash any single script.

Saying you're one of the best SRL scripters is indeed very far-fetched. I'm not sure why you're bringing it onto villavu, just deal with it on sythe. This crap doesn't belong here.

Really masterBB, if I wasn't looking for a solution the website would still be named SRLMarket, I've done everything I can on my end to fix this, yet apparently there are still problems? Realistically, I could have just left the website domain as I first registered it, and nothing would have happened, simply because there are no copyright and trademark laws when it comes to acronyms. I was doing everyone here a favor by listening and understanding the frustration and doing as I was told, to avoid further conflict with the community over here. If you have a problem with me directly, at least look at the facts and evidence prior to hopping on the boat and saying that I'm not looking for a solution, when it is blatantly obvious that I am.

E: And Smurg, honestly… Both you and I, and the rest of the people who will read your comment over there on Sythe will conclude the same thing that I just did. You have no right to post that garbage on his thread, regardless of how hard headed you may be. If you realize, Sin wasn't the one to claim that about himself, it was another user. Why that user thinks that way, I'm not even sure myself, probably because he's more than happy with what Sin has provided the public in terms of scripts.

I'm so sick of this back and fourth garbage, and have nothing more to say about this. If anyone else wants to target Sin or I, please do so off SRL.

I've stated I don't want any of the garbage from sythe coming onto this forum (seems like one individual who provokes it; not you Toxin).

This thread has run its course, both the main website and the forums are changed.
