SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

I was just adding some fixes to my agility script and I saw this pop on my runescape toolbar (the red "CB" button).





If you click it you get this pop up:




You can disable it in the toolbar options. It's called "Global Shopping App".

They really are trying to milk runescape for good…

I didn't believe him then, but now its so blatantly obvious that it just makes me go argh.

I agree, toolbars are full of crap and ad-ware lol. I hate toolbars soooo frikin much :mad:. I mean most things you install ask you do you want this toolbar to ? so we can use it to see everything you do on the internet lol :p

Just solidifies my opinion that Jagex is run by greed rather than releasing better game content to their players

This is seriously getting bad. Jagex seems to care so much about gold farmers making money off their game by breaking a couple of the in game rules and not really hurting anyone, just their pocket…. then Jagex goes and pulls crap like SoF and this…

Seriously this has got to stop, either cut the slow progression down that line or admit that you are a commercial sellout and do it properly.

ive used rs toolbar to check offers too in the past, not anymore, i didnt knew they now threw all this adds at our face, is it me or a person should feel like those porn actrisses in the end of the movies :p

Me. Well, when I still played before they started these crappy microtransaction updates. They're going to kill RuneScape by milking it for cash, that's why I refuse to even log in anymore.

Personally I don't see a problem with this. They are losing a lot of cash and want to keep the game up and running. I do not agree with the buying of spins, but then that just means i do not buy them. There is no use complaining about everyone getting free xp from it because its really rare to get decent amounts and it is really not worth buying them.

The new ads that have come out are just trying to keep the game alive, not generate more cash. Are we all forgetting that those "asian gold farmers" (excuse racism) use fake credit cards to pay membership with, therefore Jagex do not get any income from them?

I specially enabled the Internet Explorer just for the rs toolbar. Use chrome to do all task except that when I want to see the toolbar i just open IE :p That way they cant gather any cookies (of my online activities) or spam me with ads.
