Many people complain about Dung, about how 'boring' it is, and everything else.
If one thinks about it though, it's a relatively easy and fun skill. It incorporates EVERY skill, and you get to do it with other people. The xp rate at higher level dungeoneering is quite high, if you do a large dung, you can get 100k xp easily.

I was going to right more but I got lazy :p anyways, thoughts? (:

Most people hate it while they have to go to w117 and under 100 because most of the teammates you get are trash(even though some of the people that hate it aren't good themselves). It gets a lot better past 100 as people don't even full know the skill and how to efficiently do it until then or maybe even later. I have 200m dg and I had fun with it, some fun memories messing around while dging in vent. I think its just the dependency on other people that some people don't like, but if you get a good team its fine.

You just need to get teammates with the same mindset as you. I have a mindset of efficiency and speed, while some other people would rather go slower but more relaxed. I used to hate when larges took more than 25 minutes because I wanted to be as efficient as I could but thats just my opinion. Other people don't mind a 25 minute + floor because…well I don't know why but they don't lol. Guess they just aren't in a rush.

exactly, the only way you can take advantave of those huge exp rates is having a good team. plus to get those exp rates you need to have a higher lvl. and in order to do large dungs you need to have a team of multipuls. or you just get small and meds. its just very inconvenient, i have to solo rush the low level dungs then sit around and try to find a half decent team to get the large exp. id rather wait till i get my goal which is any color phat then leach my chaotics once i make up some extra cash

If you're getting this impression from the forum, then the only reason there is negativity towards Dungeoneering is because though it isn't impossible, it would take forever to write.

dungeneering is one of the most boring minigames, sorry, skill to train, to me and most players its unbereable, i just did it has most did cause of chaotics nothing more

I think that my hate for this skill boils down to one simple thing: It is not 'runescapey' enough (yes I just made that word).

Sure it might be the only skill in runescape that actually requires some level or 'skill' or teamwork but that is not the point of rs. When I load up rs to play legit, it is because I want to due something that requires almost no brain power and I don't need to rely on any teamwork (same reason I hate the barbarian assault minigame).
If I wanted to play a game with skill and brainpower involved, I would load up SC2 or a similar rts.
If I wanted to play a game that requires teamwork, I'd jump on skype and play a game of LoL, HoN or similar game with some mates.
But it's when my brain is feeling dead and I cbf doing anything else except sit at my computer and there are no good movies/videos I can think of watching, THAT is when I load up runescape.

I simply hate finding people to dung with nowadays. Everyone is "SELLING FLOORS 3M! Tired of being scammed? #Sell dung!!!" And I'm like "can I just get a nice dung group?" and they're like "WHAT BITCH?" and kick me in the face with their ENERGY LEGS!

trust me, i've been playing since RS classic, I've experienced many retards :(

dungeoneering is one of my favourite skills its great xp per/hr and you get some of the best weapons in the game from it. plus its great for cash once you've become a good keyer u can make 2-3m per 20mins easily by selling floors. only negatives about is w117 and w77 lagg and ocasionally u get a few trolls who kick you at boss or leave half way through a floor

Horrible skill.

People hate dung because of the problem solving and the constant ontheball thinking required to complete dungeons. I honestly love the skill but can never find a proper team, and if there is a proper team they are too low level.

I dont hate dung, it's my favorite thing to do on RS, I'm pro at it as well, if i may say so myself! I love dging, especially 3s2l =D =D =D

Whenever I find a team, someone leaves after 5 mins the large dung started.

I love dung now… botted 1-75 then did 75-86 legit then lost interest due to exams.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Picking a team is hard for people who have no experience to the skill, but you know your decent at the skill when you consistently find a good random team/spit out decent times in a perm team.

This pretty much sums it up perfectly. You did forget dung means you have to interact with the mindless idiots that make up the majority of RS's player base.

All in all I truly detest this minigame.

I hate dungeoneering because:

A. I don't play this game for fun, honestly I don't even think of this as a game. Left-clicking a tree 999 999 999 times! Is not a game in my book. (hence why I am botting 24x7 while playing real games instead.)

B. Dungeoneering solo is just horrible horrible horrible exp.

In order to solve problem B and get better exp/h, I would need a group and to actually play the "game", That would be to go against the key reason A, which is.

1: If you hate the game, why even bother botting it or visiting a site where most discussions are for this game.. Especially as I don't see you scripting so what exactly are you doing here?

2: Speak for yourself.. I get 120k xp per solo'd floor.. 99 everything though. Legitted dungeoneering :c

I actually don't hate dungeoneering.. I don't have to feel like I need the best armour to dung or anything.

I don't hate dung, I hate depending on other people for my xp rate. I botted it to 99 using iDung Pro, wish I had done more now seeing as a dung script is quite a ways away!

E: Let me rephrase the second part: A trustworthy dung script is quite a ways away.

I really enjoy dungeoneering, I enjoy both the competitive time floors with a decent team, as well as doing floors with friends where we all enjoy the floor and don't depend on great times.

You're on a botting forum…none of us actually TRAINED Dungeoneering legitly…of course we hate it!

I didn't mind dungeoneering it was a well needed skill imo, but that all changed when I brought idungeon back in the day :P

I'm 98 dung and i fucking hate dung. Idung pro was the shit.

It's terrible if you're relying on randoms. If you're in a decent team it's ok.

I dislike it because it's simply not feasible to play solo to the maximum level.

I don't like being forced to play a game in a way that I don't want to play it in. (in this case, being forced to play it in a team if I want to be successful)

Otherwise, it's pretty good in my opinion.

Because the teammates you get are typically shit, and soloing C6 smalls gets very boring after a while.

I really really like dunging. Fav skill by far. And it was hard finding teammates when I was sub 100 dung, even 110 lol. Though I completely understand the strict reqs on decent teams, most people blow.
