Hello everyone,
I've tried to "come back" to SRL a billion times, but I've resigned myself to the fact that no matter how fun it is, I just don't have the time to dedicate to it with school and a job on the side.
But, you guys sure were a HUGE part of my middle school career (yes, I was in like 7th grade when I was releasing my scripts :D).
Anyways, I'm now working on a project that a friend of mine is paying me a decent amount of money for, and the solution I've devised includes using a Kalman filter to combine accelerometer and gyro data to keep track of rotation data for a helicopter. The problem is, I can't make heads or tails of the Kalman filter math. I understand the basic though process with the predict and correct stages, but all the matrix math just goes straight over my head. If anybody has any experience with these things or can make heads or tails of it and help me understand, that would be greatly appreciate it.
Its nice to see that the community is thriving just as much as ever. Every time I come back to post some unrelated help thread I tell myself I'm going to get back into scripting or at least involved in some way, then I work at it for a week and eventually slide away due to lack of time; therefore, I'm not going to pretend to think I'm coming back for good, but you might see me lurking around in the help threads for a week or so.
Happy coding and thanks for the help!
