Hello, I was reading around recently and found there was a few people who emailed the jagex parents email and used some bull**** excuse that there child has some form of retardation (i don't mean to be rude).

I made this thread so we could all come together to possibly create one email that could be very useful in appealing a ban of an old main that has been banned a long time ago.

So any idea's, jot them down here. eg. a scenario - divorce? suicidal? trauma?

If this thread is wrong and not allowed to be posted cause of various things, please feel free to close it and delete, and if someone is legit offended, please message me and I will delete it.

Anyway, I really looked into this myself a while ago because I wanted to get back a permanently banned main with a yellow partyhat on it. I found out that well, during my research and trying a few things out, that they will seriously not budge.

If you choose so to claim suicide that you are having thoughts, they will send the police to your house, and if you live in the states… that wouldn't be so great. I read a story (real) about one who sent suicidal messages to Jagex, and they did just what I said. His parents also were forced to pay for a bunch of medication, which he clearly did not take… But it was either that, or being sent off to some suicide-therapy treatment. I'd leave it be… or just send them an e-mail VIA your parent's and maybe you'll get lucky.

Sythe are always discussing this BS topic, sharing idea is plain stupid, if more than 1 person sends the same email then gf.

Lol yeh I read that somewhere, I think it was here actually.

I am using all my uni essay writing books to try and think of some pro way to write out this appeal, only reason i want the account is because it had 2 red masks, 1 green and a santa, but i believe it was hacked then banned. But they did say no one else was on the account apart from my IP, which I call BS.

Anyone have a masters in some sort of essay writing, written a book themselves, or something ha.

I do not go on sythe, terrible community full of scammers/children etc, apart from the very few reasonable people on that forum, I do not give it my time, therefore didn't know this was all over sythe.

And obviously, sending in the same email over and over would be completely stupid, I wasnt asking for someone to write a appeal for me, rather give me ideas on a direction to head or where not to head?

to be honest i tried it once, wrote them email as parent and told them that my kid has an problems because of this game, when his accoun has been disabled he stoped to eat, dont want to go to school, doesnt talk to anybody and they replied me with recommendation to psychiatrist and also asked the username so they will look what happened to the account, after that they didnt replied.

You should write a formal looking mail.

I had my account get permanent mute, though its probably less strict then full ban. I appealed probably 12 months later saying that some kid at school I used to be friends with told me he had my account (he stole it) and said that he didn't want it cause it had mute. With a bit of a whinge.

That worked for my mute, just thought I'd comment. :)

Yep well I have tried honesty in my appeal, BUT they take over a year to be looked at… Unless they re look at ban's which is highly unlikely,

My legit reason is that I was hacked, then i was watching my account spam a gold site, then it was seen botting later that day. I think my only problem is that it has one minor offence for botting (auto talker) in previous history, hopefully that wont hold me back.

I didn't even know perm mutes existed haha.

Also… as a side note… a friend of mine apologized sincerely for botting in the past and we was very immature and learned his lesson, as he is a mature player now and wants everyone to be on the same level(s) in terms of playing fair. What do you know, a real mod probably read that appeal, and actually accepted it. Half the time they won't even read what you write depending on the situation of the ban, it's like insta-deny.. So it's really trying to get them to READ what you have to say is the trick.

Also, the story I was talking about, yeah it was from here actually, I just remembered.

I wrote a suicide threat on an appeal for a character and the cops came to my house.
