Bot Nukes affecting colour?

Idk if this info has been already posted but I was surfing the web and found this article.

Optimus is a second 'bot nuke' originally planned for release in March, but has since been delayed and will most likely be released later this year. Mod Mark has also confirmed a full FPS fix will be released along with this update[source needed].
Bots that do not use colour will not be affected by this update, according to Mod Mark[source needed].

“ "We’re already well underway with our next generation of anti-botting software called Optimus, which is going to be released shortly, and we’re also currently developing ways to remove the remaining screen-scraper bots from the game." ”

— Mark Gerhard, RuneScape News[1]

Game Engine & CM Q&AEdit
Mod Philip confirmed in the Game Engine & CM Q&A of 13 April 2012 that they are working Optimus and that they also have other things planned to stop the bots.
“ I can't say too much about the release date, as we don't want to tell the botters too much about how we are getting on. However, I can tell you that we are working on it at the moment, and we are hoping to be able to get rid of the bots again in the near future, and keep on kicking them while they are down, so that they can't get up again…
Optimus should help us to do this, as should some other things we are working on (it is not by any means the only trick up our sleeves). Watch this space… (sorry I can't tell you more).
”

— Mod Philip
In that same Q&A Mod Chirs E said that Optimus is close to release and that it's related to the FPS fix as Mod Mark said earlier.

nope it won't, atleast not for longer than a week.

Unless they literally breaks the laws of physics.

Even if they make it open gl only right now.
We can just take screenies and analysize our colour from reading the data from the screen shot. Also there are a lot of skills that doesn't even require color that much… like fletching and shat where we can almost do it blind and just use anti bans and stuff to make it safe.

Simba can't really die unless u want to make Runescape look like an acid trip mixed with shrooms.

this is been posted but color will only adjust, as long if there is a screen with RS and color on it then we will always have a way to bot with it

Uhh, what does the law of physics have to do with a color bot? :D If you want to be technical, they're already breaking the law of physics because their game engine doesn't handle physics at all.

Unless they make runescape a download fullwindow client.. we'd be stumped on that for a long time.

Wouldn't they just make a SMART client that opens Runescape then?

What I mean is, the only way for them to stop simba from working is make simba unable to do math.
I've made a bot that has walking and screen clicking using ONLY the compass beside the minimap. So if somehow jagex can break simba's mathematical functions, then they might have a chance; Otherwise we will never be stopped.

Unfortunately most of the code isn't working any more (Sorry jakeyboy29) as there was a sudden compass angle change in the srl and I didn't have the time or patient to fix the geometry of it.

It was said that botnuke no2 is aimed at reflection/injection.

im really confused thought optimus was afecting the remaining injection bots out there -.-

Won't affect us.

there really is no way this is possible, if they make it impossible to use a colour bot they make it impossible for a human to play the game. thats why i think it has been delayed, they don know how to get optimus to be effective against the colour bots…

They can stop Simba only if there would be a black and white runescape.

They can't stop color bots ,but they can make our live harder. And they can target SMART.

They are doing a whole lot to stop mining at Rimmington. They switch the colors around so that they are basically the same but in different spots. And also they made the side the same color as iron, and the dropped iron ores are the same colors as the ores you mine.

The only thing thing that they could possibly do is by screwing up SMART, but theyll come with a new alternative a couple of days later. Anyways, we can still choose the screen, so its no use.
