Not sure how many of you know this website but I was a pretty devoted member of this site. What they do is leak and crack scripts. Just thought I'd let you know we should be pretty wary of accepting newer users into SRL Membership because if anyone knows anything about this site - they pretty get much leak everything from every site.

EDIT: Here's a link to the site: http://www.rscoders.org/forum.php

Yeh, I just realised they have their own Simba subsection

And the administrator of the site says he's going to put up a 'massive pack of scripts for Simba' *gulp*

Isn't contra or whatever his name the leader of RSCoders? Didn't it used to be called ReCoders?

Contra was the owner yes - he is a beast who can crack almost anything - literally.

RECoders, cracked programs. However, the request for cracking Runescape scripts became overwhelming so he created RSCoders.org - for RS Scripts.
They are(were) two different websites.

Both websites went down years ago, but RSCoders is back. Contra is no longer running the site(he is still there), instead it is some other guy called System

I think my brother use to be active in RsCoders, but I am quite interested of what scripts he will grab from us, and the way he manages to get them :X.

Trust me he will, for the slightest second in my mind I thought 'OMG I COULD SO TOTALLY LEAK' and then I was no way, it's not worth it.

He didn't flame us, lets not flame him.
Honestly they should support us lol, (Weird as it sounds listen) They are a learning community as well, it is not like we are charging for you to become an SRL member either…

So banning a member for saying thank you and proceeding to call him an ignorant fucktard isn't flaming?
Dayum your standards are highhhhh :P

Anyway…I'm curious as to which scripts they will 'leak' out from us… makes me wonder who is in on it, lol.

Haha I made an account (Using a name, I used a lot in the past) and then stated making a script pack is useless and you shouldn't do it, then went on to say just go to the site.. all of the scripts are free.

I guess the easiest solution is everyone adds simple Anti-leech's to their script. Like commenting out the mainloop.

Then they'd be hopeless :p

In the time they spend looking for our "ub3r pr1v4t3 scr1pt5" they could have easily just learned how to script themselves and got members the legit way. Sometimes I think people just like to defy rules for the sake of it, even if it takes more effort than following guidelines.

Yes, which is another good reason all Members+ who vote Yes on an application must really take into account the applicant's longevity as well as activity. This is crucial.

Oh no, they want to crack Simba scripts:

http://www.rscoders.org/forums/113-Cracks

Maybe we should public some obfuscated scripts to make them fun:)

Kyle Undefined

I don't see any threads…

Abu

2012-04-14 20:05:27

Yeh he's 'working' on it :p

The main concern though really is them getting hold on SRL Member scripts.

rice

alot of these scripts are leaked.. sadly

I don't exactly look at it as leaking or stealing. They are on here free to use to anyone who can access the area they are in. I don't see the owner of any of the script threads stating "it's only for the person who downloads it".

More than likely people there will want to join here to get more scripts and realise its better to be here than somewhere they have to wait maybe a long time for an update.
Because that persons problem is not being noted and the script writer will only update if they know about a problem.

If it's not in the public section, it's not intended for the public.
