SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

Hey all,
Just saw in the patch notes and have been noticing on RS the new update to the special attack. The game now notifies you when you hit 50% and 100% in a nice bright green color :D Personally I've incorperated it into my fighting scripts to make special attacks trigger at the correct time without using a timer function. Not really a huge upate for us, but now it looks less botlike to jagex when we spec almost exactly every 5 minutes as now anyone will be able to do it :)

To be honest this game is getting easier and easier. Wish we had oldschool rs, like without hp/pray/energy icons. =/

I second this the game will never be like before update i hated the most was the switch from Hitpoints to Constitution

I remember hitting a 30/40 didn't happen so often.


It's a nice update. Makes Pking easier.

That moment you check your spec bar and your dead.

As much as people complain about the updates, honestly the game has to progress. We all have reminiscent rose-tinted memories of the game "back in the day" but if it was still the same as it was in '06 the game would've gone stale.

The only two updates that Jagex has released that I truly hated were the trade restriction update (Jagex really went over-board with trying to stop rwt) and the constitution update (It felt like they were trying to make runescape something that it was not).

That just gave me an Idea for some reason,
When I start Pking/Dueling I wanna make a Pking/Duel Bot Assist Super quick Eating at the correct times while Specing at the same time.
Could sit in the duel arena dueling people for me All day, Auto Looking up Highscores to see the probability of Winning before accepting.
