Hello SRL! It’s your buddy, Onilika, talking!
I decided to write some things about my progress, in order to achieve Maxed Cape/Completionist Cape!
I know some of our members been creating threads like this, but in order to pass the time and to show what to do, and what not to do, here it goes what happens on my mind!
Hope you enjoy it!
- I already Play this game called RuneScape for a few years. Few years for me are like, more than 5 years!
- Started playing when I was at school, and everyone around me used to play. So I thought to myself: ‘Why not to learn a little bit more about this game that almost everyone play?’
- I created my very first account. To describe it, the game was like a drug. I simply couldn’t stop playing it!
- At the time, I was the biggest noob (still am, but not that much! ).
- My account was stolen (I was an idiot at that time, otherwise I wouldn’t have lost it ).
- I became sad because the first account I had was no longer mine, so after a month or two without playing, I decided to create a new account. My Main!
Always played Legit, because I had no knowledge on scripts/bots, whatever you want me to call it.
Was at Highschool when I met some colleagues that affirmed that they used to play RuneScape. One of them said that could help me training my account! And I didn’t declined that offer!
He started talking about a community where he was member. A community with a program that could play the game for you, making you gain time and do something else, instead of sitting your but, the hole day, in front of a pc.
And here starts the dark side history!
Onilika meets SRL
• Magic was my first botted skill till 99 – I used a high alcher, inside of my POH, in order to avoid Random events!
• Then was Fletching time! Did every kind of bow, from maples to mage bows. Trained at Edgeville, since the bank sometimes was full, which would make things a little easier ( nowadays, you guys use Soul Wars, which is good to avoid Randoms )
• Oh, forgot to mention! Cooking skill was my first 99. Did it, the legit way, with monks and sharks, at Rogue’s den!
• WoodCutting, Unfortunately, at the time there was no Ivys. Had achieved the inferno adze, so me and friend of mine, we went to cut teak trees. Good moments, training with a friend. Time passed and we both get 99!
• Another skill, Hunter! Many might not like it because concentration is required, involves many clicks. I trained at red Chinchompas, again, with my friend. We had to fight over and over, in order to kick players that used to steal our spot! ( at the time, was almost impossible to get an empty world, so we could catch them. In w2, used to be more than 3 players catching/fighting them). But was one of the most funniest skill to train, at the time.
• The Ranging skill. I think everyone at that time used to go to yaks, since they were good exp/hour, and they were easy to kill. They had not much defense, and there were plenty of them to have a good EXP Rate! I trained on them till 80s. But I was start getting annoyed with the skill, so…Chinning Time! Went to Ape Toll. Stopped at lvl96 and managed to get 99 with Frost Dragons! (void gear, ranging potion, cannon, rune c’bow , broad bolts)
• The Crafting skill. Some of the training was done by making sapphire bracelets. Was slow, think I had not much profit from it, only losses. Was a slow procedure.
Then I changed to Blue d’hides. Asked help to Flight, to help me making a crafting script, since that at the time there were no scripts for what I need to. And was that script that took me to 99!
• Smithing, this skill…Was kinda like Crafting. I started by making gold bars, using the gold Gauntlets ( double exp ), until level 88. That level because at that level I could make Adamant Platebodies!
But then came out an idea. Why not train Smithing and Magic ( again ) , at same time? It’s faster than making bars at the furnace, and you always get some more Exp at the Magic skill! That’s what I did! Superheat! Till 99, but then I went to get a few hammers from Sacred Clay minigame, to get the 2 final levels!
• Herblore. That was though. Instead of making overloads, I did super strength. Tons of it. Used an Herblore script for this, but I trained this skill during the Bonus Exp weekend! So, it wasn’t that bad?! Right?
• Dungeoneering, nothing to say. Legit all the way!
• Mining, woah! What a boring skill. If wasn’t Flight I would be still training this skill. I achieved the 99 on this skill, with this script: Granite Pro. One of the best mining scripts I ever used. Flawless, good rate Exp! (For who has no level to have access to Living Rock Cavern, Granite Pro is a Must!
• Farming Skill, not a bad skill. Also used a script from Flight! The Livid Farmer. Used it to get those points, in order to unlock spells, and because it’s a Completionist Requirement. What I did all the time was planting herbs. Planted a few trees. During the bonus Exp weekend, I planted all high trees (Mage, palms, calquat). It did get me close to 99, but was 98. So the final level was only with Fellstalk! High level herbs, with High Exp. But low profit. Really Low profit.
• Prayer, ahh, my favourite Skill! Don’t you guys love that skillcape?
Was a little hard to get it due to the money. But I achieved 99 in like 3 days, using Frost Dragon Bones. Massive Exp for sure!
• Thieving – I hated Pyramid Plunder, since that snakes were bitting me all the time! Gets annoying. So I decided to use a bot not from SRL ( sorry guys, I really didn’t want to). I used the monkey Knife Fighters bot. The exp really depends! Max is 300k/hour, but starts decreasing from the moment the monkey moves from spot. Was a fast 99, in my personal opinion. But hey! I also used some Thieving scripts from SRL!
• Agility – Boring skill, once again. This 99 was achieved thanks to SRL. Can’t remember the name of the guy who did the script, but soon I’ll add his name ! Did legit till lvl85, with summer pies. From that level, I start using the script. Flawless script! But had to make a few breaks, to not get that 99 that fast!
• Fishing – I did fly Fishing in many places. Like Shillo Village, but I did not liked that much. Moved to Ardougne, at the river, near the Zamorak tower. Quiet place, no one bothering me! Also did a bit of monkfishes, and finnaly went for the Heave Rod, at Baxtorian Falls. Good Fishing/Strenght/Agility EXP!
• Firemaking – Was also a pain. I was always stop training that skill. I trained with maple logs at Edgeville, Port Phasmatys. After so much effort, I achieved that 99.
• Combat skills, Attack, Defense, Strength, was trained with Slayer Skill. Combat skills are already 99, but Slayer…not really.
• Summoning was a bit hard, because it can be a pain to get all those charms. Most of them was from Slayer. Killed some waterfiends also ( Used Goliath Gloves beucase they have the best Crush attack in game). Also used lamps from Diaries, on Summoning skill, which was a big help!
• Runecrafting skill, the skill that we could make tons of profit! I did everything, from air runes to blood runes! But my training was more cosmics, deaths, astrals and natures. Till getting 91 RuneCraft ( for double natures ), I did much of the RC in ZMI. Shame that at the time there was no script for that. Was all legit!
Then I get tired, stop at lvl97 and the rest was by assisting people's effigies! Took a time :b
• Oh…something was missing. Construction skill. Was also boring. Since there was no script for construction at the time, I decided to use another bot that wasns’t from SRL (sorry again!! ). Was pretty fast to achieve, and I mainly used oak planks. Made oak doors at the dungeon and used the Butler.

What Am I working, at this point!?
• Currently working on Slayer ( Gathering charms )
• Making Slayer tasks till 97 Slayer. (Got 67 Effigies banked)
• Getting Strange Rocks for the completion of Dahmaroc Statue
• I'm also doing Bork. You get good charms and gems! (if you have varrock armour 3 or 4)
• Citadel. I get Strange Rocks while getting resources and also I get a clay ring that gives some experience in a certain skill. I use mine on Firemaking!
Progress Report!

- Could finnaly complete Moritanya Tasks and get EXP Lamps! (They went all for Summoning)
- Using those lamps, granted me lvl95 Summoning. With that, I could catch the monkey (one task of the Karamja diary). Used all lamps from Karamja aswell at Summoning skill, and that gave me the change to get 96 summoning!

16/04/2012

I decided to write some things about my progress, in order to achieve Maxed Cape/Completionist Cape!
