Hey all.

Working on a Dominion Towers script to get Dreadnips and Goliath gloves :)

Script has been released, Please find it in the attachments!

Just wanting to make this thread as a progress on getting the script finished.

Currently only handles one of the bosses. If I get enough feedback on this thread I will consider improving the script to handle multi bosses and release it to the public.

Also, I noticed it doesn't work unless you have Auto-Retaliate on. Wouldn't it be advisable to mention that in the OP?

Please note that this script is NO WHERE NEAR SRL MEMBERSHIP STATUS so please don't try and apply with this script. I had no intention in releasing this to the public so I decided to use the most basic functions, and they have yet to fail me.

You need victory scene on

The script will now stop if you do not have the correct Taunt Settings. The correct settings are:

Trust me man, its an easy minigame to make a script for. The current script (in the video) took me around 3 hours to make it 99% flawless (just random bugs that I have fixed on the fly)

Take a sharp left once you've passed the shanty pass, head left and you should see a giant tower! You won't miss it! XD

Justin, had a look at the wiki page seems alright, got 1 more quests to complete for minimum requirements, would like them all to be done tbh, but…that's not going to happen for a while! Awesome new progress report! :)

also its not necessarily that yours will be worse just because ur rank is lower, and even then there is no harm releasing it even if there is a better one. (can in fact benefit everyone to see how a ssrl makes a function differently from the average scripters?:p)

I would absolutely love to see this script! I don't see why this shouldn't be public. It doesn't effect the economy and only helps people avoid grinding.

Didn't note down the exp but I would say 5-10k exp /hr.. Mainly used for the rewards

Have you updated to SPS 2.0? And does this script use SPS 1.0? Or vice versa?

I was using the script for a while, got maybe a 100 kills. But eventually it got stuck at the screen where it needs to pick the "Special" battle. It just kept moving the mouse over the second and third option, when it needed to go to the option near the bottom (can't remember exactly what it's called; the weak Sunfreet).

Also, the slowest part of the script is the gate finding between battles, the stair finding to go up after a battle, and climbing the stairs at the beginning of the script. If you want to optimize performance, those would be the key places.

All in all, your script is decent. It gets the job done.

Thanks for the report. As for the bug where it was hovering over the last two option, a failsafe should of kicked in after 30 seconds and fixed the problem, any chance you let it run for 1-2 minutes after you noticed this?

I am planning to make the gate finding and all that faster using pixelshift ect, not sure when I will get around to it as I am going back to work on Monday.

If you could also enabled Debug and then try and run the script again to see if you are able to reproduce this bug and post what the output is, that would be even better.

Omg, im too lazy to do this legit it takes ages.. totally doing this right now until i get atleast 600 kills.
1st attempt, it didn't log itself in only put name and pass? :S
Once it logged in it clicked to go up the stairs into special mode but then randomly kept hovering over the first 3 options, i manually clicked the fire it burns a minute later.. currently trying it to see if it'll work after it's done a round itself.
2nd attempt after it killed the boss perfectly, it clicked on the fire option. working good now.

Starting at 66 kills
I'll let you know what im at by the morning.. and 6h proggy tomorrow after the script does its job.

I'll try it again soon Justin. Right now I am firemaking. I want this tedious skill out of the way first. Or at least a few levels.

Do you need to do anything before this? Like start the minigame? Or can I just go and turn it on? lol. Also reading through rs wiki it looks like some rewards require killing some bosses at least once. I'm assuming I need to do this on my own?

So i started using the script. works good till sunfreet dies, but then rather than doing tht emote and the camera doing a 360 on u, like in ure vid, mine just says Yeah you have won in the chatbar. Then, the script does nothing.

Any solutions?

Feel free to do it legit then, I made this so I was able to sleep and get dreadnips.

Great release Justin! I looked through the code and it seems pretty nice. May use this at some point. :)

So far, there is a VERY noticeable improvement on the performance and speed. The mouse now only moves to two or three spots before clicking the correct one, and I haven't gotten stuck yet. When I run it for a longer time I will post some proggies and rate stability. Good work [J]ustin.

Okay I will push 0.5 now, some improvements with finding the gates, should find them with 1 mouse movement now. Not sure where\why some people are getting stuck on the 'Special' screen, will look into it tomorrow at work, currently going to bed.

The whole script will failsafe after around 2 mins 30 seconds. So at max you will be stuck for 2 mins 30 and it will then pick up and finish off

I definitely need to get dreadnips and gloves before I start slaying again. I still have a bunch of botting to do before I start doing something legit like slaying ;)

I'm not sure if you have updated this, but you can skip the taunt and victory scene (by selecting taunts in climber/endurance). But when I skip the victory, it doesn't register it has killed the boss. So I just ran with only skip taunt at the start of the fight and was getting 32 boss kills per hour on average.

Other then that, thanks for the boss kills! :) Nomad and the 3 monkey's were annoying to find once I had the 500 kills.

It's safe to run, just watch it do a few bosses and check on it every now and again. You should really do that with every new bot you use. For the issue with private fights, you can always turn spectator off so no one will watch you.

thanks, yeah it's wierd cuz 0.6 sets up defaults for victory scenes anyways…even tried 0.5 with same settings and kept getting the same problem. Worked pretty good the very first time i used it for some reason though.

Could you please post the debug box and take a screenshot of what is happing when it gets stuck? make sure to include the minimap

Script is working perfectly, Its working really nicely, It runs six hours for me. 44-46 kills/H

it appears they changed some colors in the dominion tower, so the script isnt running very well anymore

EDIT:Please disregard the message above, i had some kind of graphical glitch and everything was black and white for one round, everything is back to normal and the script is working great.

You didn't get de-rep'd for releasing a free working script.
It's quite clear the person whio de-rep'd you did it because you asked for reputation.

You then try to argue that you've done us all a great favour (which I'll admit you have) but to some of us, when you start asking for reputation it comes across as if you've done it just for some e-rep.

To the person who de-rep'd you it probably appears that you're not being helpful for being helpful's sake, but rather doing it for some personal gain - which to a lot of people is a really poor attitude to have. (it's akin to religion, where most people who are religious aren't good for the sake of being good and they don't do what they do because they knwo it's right and can be justified morally, but rather because they want a slot in heaven…)

This community is (or appears to me) to be heavily reliant on it's open-source nature where everyone is given an opportunity to contribute, therefore free scripts are just a given (whether they be public or not*). Paid scripts aren't supported. Releasing a free script is nothing special, it should be the standard (and with a few exceptions, it is) in this community.

Basically, don't ask for reputation, continue your good work and the reputation will come when and where it is merited.

Hey for some reason I am having a problem entering and leaving the arena. This bot is working but just very slow. The progress report predicts only 6 wins an hour. Any ideas on what to do to fix this??

Unfortunately I'm now forced to finish 95 - 99 attack and defence, and also to get charms for 99 summoning as fast as I can before this new combat system is integrated into RS and breaks all our bots for now (and possibly forever :( ! ).

But so I am just browsing through your thread again as my character grinds armored zombies, and I'm just a bit confused.

I understand to get goliath gloves, you have to kill 500 bosses, and kill the top tiered bosses all at least once (right?). So I guess what I have to do is do whatever quests give me access to the top teared bosses, and then kill those 5, then your bot grinds out the 500 boss kill count on the easy bosses (right?). Does your bot kill just one boss, or various easy bosses? and also what quests do I need to do?

(i'm a bit confused as to what bosses I'll need access to and what bosses I won't)

This isn't a super-long proggy but it's pulling decent wins per hour for me. Amazing script. The actual fights could be a bit faster, but that's not a complaint by any means, just an observation. Everything else works fast and flawlessly from what I've seen. Thank you Justin!

I think i figured out why u actually get better proggies than mine…
in ur EnterDominionFight procedure,

 if (DidYellowClick) then
      begin
        EnterDominionFight;
      end;         

This means that if it DidYellowClick its going to repeat everything below twice, as after it re-perform EnterDominionFight it will re-perform anything that is below the DidYellowClick again.
You shd either put an Exit after EnterDominionFight; or do the else statement.

Your version checker was broken, so I simply removed it. In case you guys might download this and wonder how to fix it… You simply need to delete that small portion. I would show you, but I don't want to re-download it. Hit CTRL+F and search for Version! Delete as you see fit.

you can easily get 40+ with sunfreet. My script averages 42/hr
Endurance mode isn't scriptable with colors(well it is, just not worth it at all)

Great job!! script has simple setup - i set it up at 2:30am, let it run, went to sleep, woke up just now

-boss kills upon waking up - @@@250~~~ lasted 6hrs 20mins

I think it has something to do with java, try removing your current java version with revo uninstaller, and then install jdk32 6… it worked for me;)

I haven't been successful in starting this script or any script for that matter cause I always get a error no matter what. I can only start those draynor willow ones.

Delete the 2-3 lines starting with line 407.
Look what lines start with Smart_Server and delete it.


Gets stuck waiting for the fight to finish…


Just stands there until logout, script killed 4 sunfreets before and everything was fine but now 4th time it can't detect that fight has finished.
