Well, as someone of you know, I'm 13 and it's my first year of highschool, Term 1. I go to a selective school so the girls are not as hot there but, hey. Alright, so, people tell me I'm really popular with the girls in my class, because I'm funny, I'm willing to do stupid things to keep people entertained, and I'm not scared. So today, this girl asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with her. Now, don't get me wrong, I really like this girl, BUT I'm just not sure I want to go. I googled the cinema adress up and it was 30KM's away, and I live arround the city so it's gonna take a long time to get there. I kind of already said no, but, I'm not sure I did the right thing. I know the girls in my class realy like me, I've been told that by many people and their friends. What do I do? Should I ask her to go to the movies or something else? Etc. But I'm not so sure because I know if she tells that we went to the movies, the other girls will get jealous so. And I'm kind of a people guy so I pretty much want to keep everyone happy. Ok, what should I do? I have not much confidence with girls sometimes, but I'm willing to do anything if it's nescesary. And did I mention, I really like her? :duh:

Well you shouldn't care if other girls will get jealous or not, if you like this girl go on a date with her. If you're having second thoughts about it, chances are you should have said "Yes" in the first place.

I would go up to her and just say something like, "Hey, I was really nervous yesterday when I told you no. I really like you and I'd love to go to the movies with you." If you really like her, this could be your only chance to get with her.

By the way, being invited to the movies by a girl isn't weird at all. You should be thankful they're coming to you rather than the other way around.

If you really like her, then go for it lol. Go back to her and tell her you'd love to go to the movies.

On the side note, since the movies are quite a distance from where you live, you have plenty of time to spend with that girl, just you and her, so plan of extra activites you could do with her.

Why can't your parents take you? And what do you mean you had no idea how to ask her?

Well since you're going to the movies, It would be formal if you'd pay for the tickets/food/etc, or atleast thats how it goes around where I live. But I guess thats up to you since youre 13

If you live that far from her, call her or text her. or if you see her tomorrow or so, go up to her and talk to her :P

Anyyyyyyways, just go with it man, watch a movie, have fun, let your hair down.

Most of the time, if you ask "Is it weird that…", it wasn't weird until you asked. If a girl asks you out, it's not weird. It's freaking awesome. Don't be chauvinist. Just go with it. If you like the girl, don't worry if the others are jealous.

Also, if it is 30km away that just means you have a semi-long drive to talk to her alone right? Or sit in the back and hold hands and whatever, since you two probably aren't old enough to drive yourselves.

Edit: I see she leaves near the cinema so there probably won't be the semi-long drive with her.

Just make it a give and take relationship. Don't spend all your money going out to see her if she won't come to see you too.

Do what YOU want. Dont worry so much what other people will think. If you continue with this mindset, highschool will eat you ALIVE. You cant please everyone. Not everyone is going to love you in highschool. You need to learn this ASAP. Some will love ya, some wont care for ya, some will HATE you.

Now… if you like this girl and she likes you… well I mean if you thought about this its simple. JUST GO. Now a days it doesnt matter who asks who first. We are in a new age. Go get this girl before she finds someone else… believe me it will happen. Then when you are older you are going to realize, man this could have been something, and you're going to get stuck with "what if's"

I'd say go with her. Just show her a good time, whatever you/she thinks that entails. If she had fun, she'll tell her friends. If they are jealous and think you're worth it, they'll just try harder for you. Depends on the type of people though,.. but if anything, I'd still say just show her a fun time.

Honestly you are young, don't worry if you don't/can't go. There are TOO MANY women in the world (Worlds over populated with humans) and you can easily find another. Simply just wait for the next opportunity if she likes you she will ask again, or just ask her to do something.

being 13, are your parents really going to let you travel by train/bus to get there? and being your first date, i presume your mum is going to be so excited about that and WILL drive you and pick you up after, and will probably even pick her up…

First off, whats a girl?

All jokes aside, I personally think you're too young to be going out. If its movies with a bunch of friends thats cool, but at your age I would be focusing more on studies and such as these years are basically gonna be foundation for your life. Personally, I think relationships during highschool never last and the end result isn't always good, enough if the journey is fun.

But then again, I don't know your personality and what kind of person you are. In the end, since you know yourself best, its your choice to make.

If the movies are too far away, you can always invite her to your house to play some RuneScape.
