hello there, im new to runescape and the whole pvp side of it and i've just been botting up most of my combat skills.

my question is what should i get my skills up to to effectively start pvping
and what should i get to be pvp ready?

You need to decide what build you wanna achieve.
*Pure
-low defense (1-45) High Strength 99, Attack 40-60-70-75-85-99, Range and Mage 99
-Terminology for a "pure" 1 def pure, zerker, turmoil pure
*70 def pure
- all combat 99 beside defence 70 for Dh switching
These are two types of very simple pures, there are more but are much too complex for a new player. Even a zerker and a turmoil would be complicated. I recommend going a 1 def pure, its practically free and pretty fun.

If you wanted a pure you already messed up unless you quested that defense.

This is not what you asked, but the best pure still is Summoning pure. :)

You don't need "pure" stats to pk, I do it just fine with my stats (maxed :P)
Try something like 90 attack 90 strength 75 defence. Best of all worlds.

40 attack 70 str 75 range… should be a nice fun acc, if you wanna talk more about pures etc pm me:) i been pking for a good 5-7 years now lol

yeah i don't really care for the pure and what not i just want to be able to kill people XD

i may also add im lazy as shit so im not remaking the account so if you can give me information on how to build my account from here that would be better

To be honest everyone can pk nowadays, but you will need some things:
melee: cls, barrow gloves, vengeance, and about 1m risk
ranged: rune c'bow/chaotic c'bow, veng, d bolts/diamond bolts…, ava's accumulator
mage: ancients, barrows gloves…

There are accounts for pvp like others said:

Pures: low risk -> easy to pk
Tanks: high risk -> hard to pk
Barrows "pures": high risk -> hard to pk

You can ever hybrid, combining cb styles. GL ;)

Let me join the bandwagon here. I am always interested in PKing, but my ping to any RS server is at least 150ms, usually 200ms. Any chance for me to get started in the PVP side of the game?
