The SPS updater has now been fixed, so if you override your update (or wait for it to automatically update), you should be fine. The sps.dll plugin has also beAXen added to the updater.

So basically, you shouldn't have to follow the steps on the first post anymore.

Yesterday, an update was made to MSI that causes compiling errors if users don't have the new SPS. I was under the impression that the SPS updater worked just like the rest of the updaters, but that isn't the case. This will all be resolved soon, but in the meantime, if you want to use MSI, you have to download and install SPS manually (very easy).

Just follow these steps:
  1. Open Simba.
  2. Go to SPS > Automatically > Update and make sure it's unchecked.
  3. Close Simba.
  4. Download SPS from here. Save it to you desktop.
  5. Extract it to Simba/Includes/ (replace the existing SPS folder), so you have a Simba/Includes/SPS/ directory.
  6. Open the new SPS folder and copy the sps.dll file that's in SPS/plugins/.
  7. Paste that file in Simba/Plugins/.
  8. Open Simba and run MSI!
If you have any issues, please post here. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
Coh3n

I got this error first too, but, the problem was that you didn't complete step 7 correctly. After copying the sps.dll file from C:\Simba\Includes\SPS\plugin, you need to go back 3 times in total. Don't get fooled by the Plugins folder in C:\Simba\Includes. That's where you pasted it first. So go back ALL THE WAY to C:\Simba\, then click on the Plugins folder on this screen:

Paste the sps.dll file inside the Plugins folder, then run Simba -> MSI.

Hope I helped.

I was having this error, and this worked fixing it.
If for some reason you are STILL getting the error, then you didn't do the steps correctly and re-read it again!

I assure you, I'm doing it correctly. I hate to be the annoying one, but unless I'm going blind, I've done everything as instructed, multiple times. Is there a way I could contact either one of you for a bit of assistance? This clearly isn't working for me. Skype perhaps?

I've reinstalled, Followed instructions multiple times, still not working. I HAVE read all the posts including the step 7 one. I've tried that multiple times too. Can someone help me either via skype or Teamviewer (if Trusted)

EDIT: Figured out solution, If anyone else is having this problem make sure you update first via tools, update. I have all the auto updates off but i'm not sure if that did anything. :)

This means you didn't download SPS properly or at all. See this http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?p=829125#post829125 thread for the fix.

I made a misstake, and i extracted it to the "includes" folder without remaining the winrar archive to SPS, its called "Coh3n-SPS-00ee388, so it didnt replace. This time i extracted it to desktop and renamed it to SPS, and thereby i could replace the folder in "includes".

The SPS updater has now been fixed, so if you override your update (or wait for it to automatically update), you should be fine. The sps.dll plugin has also been added to the updater.

This is probably a stupid question but I've tried searching and can't seem to find an answer.

When I try to run a script I've made from following along with YoHoJo's tutorial videos:
program DTMTest;

{$I SRL/SRL.simba}

var
X, Y, Log:Integer;
begin
SetupSRL;

Log :=DTMFromString('mlwAAAHicY2dgYOADYiYgFmWAAEEgFgdiSSDmBWJ2qDhIXgyIRYCYA4jT/XShOrFh3IARD4YCALK+Ab4=');

If FindDTM(Log, X, Y, MSX1, MSY1, MSX2, MSY2) then
begin
writeln('Found log');
MMouse(X, Y, 5, 5);
If IsUpText('log') Then
Mouse (X, Y, 0, 0, true);
end;

FreeDTM(Log);
end.
I get this error:

[Hint] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/mapwalk.simba(1353:3): Variable 'BOX' never used at line 1352
Compiled successfully in 546 ms.
SRL Compiled in 0 msec
Successfully executed.

I've updated SRL, SPS, and MSI. I've also tried your post at the beginning of the thread and tried redownloading Simba altogether. For what it's worth no matter what type of script I run that I make myself I seem to get an error. Ones I've downloaded are fine.

I don't think so. The SPS updater ships sps.simba + all the images. sps.dll is shipped with the plugins updater.
