Hey guys ive been using drop box for quite a while, great way to share/backup files/photos etc/source code (aswell as google code/github)

They currently have a offer where if you refer someone both of you get extra 500mb of space.

Best use so far for me, I keep my KeePass database on it. Now I have access to it everywhere I go, and it's kept sync'd. I keep the password in my brain and the key file on my usb flash drive.

I've been meaning to DL Dropbox for a while now, I'll gladly use your ref link.

I pays for it now, after using it for like a year.


10 bucks a month for 50 gbs, I'd happy to pay that rather than eat a mc donalds meal (which I LOVEE) or pay for rs membership.

Im in process of paying… but this will be another +10gb for free.

I spun up some VMs and installed Dropbox on each one using my referral link. Was surprised it actually worked.

I have my own server which I use for file sharing etc, but I decided I could try this, already installed on my iPhone, Laptop and Desktop.

One of my IRL friends used a similar trick and installed a microsoft virtual pc XP version on his PC, and keep spoofing the MAC addresses (or network?) and installs dropbox software on the machine to get free storage. He got some 16GB by doing this.

Not sure if this works anymore, but if anyone does not mind trying, this might be the way to go.
