Hello people!

Either i'm blind, or there isn't one here.

I am looking on a tutorial on how to use smart from scratch. I've downloaded the 'SMARTv7.0.zip' file from this thread http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77933, downloaded a script I wish to use and do not know what to do from here.

I have downloaded Simba and followed this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUEYS1JTWlA&feature=related but at 2:38, when he clicks 'Associate File Extensions',it says
'Access Denied
Association Failed'

After that part of the video I stopped watching and decided to make this post, because he actually doesn't use SMART in his video, I don't think.

Thanks, in advance!

I already have downloaded simba, just haven't sorted out smart yet. Need a tutorial as when I tried before it didn't work.

Download a script. Run it (F9) and wait like 1min and smart will be there

You need to run simba in administrative mode in order to associate extensions.

If I'm correct you extract the files from that folder into Simba -> Plugins, then when you run a script it should load in the updated SMART.

Also, you will need the latest Simba for SMART 7.0

This thread's over a month old…Looks to me like the OP got Simba working then left. Check the date of the thread before posting :)
