Change your "Last logged in" on Runescape.

Failure

2012-04-08 04:33:12

Hey there, this will show you how to change it.

1. Go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and check for your IP. (Let the page open since you need it)

2. Go to : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

You should see this.

3. Open "Hosts" with notepad.

4. Just like this and save it.

5. Perfect example and result. (The IP is fake, no worries!)

There you go enjoy it.

You should mention that this is localized and that will not appear if you log in from another location.

Yeah basicaly you are only creating an alias for that address on the computer you modify the files.

So should you login on another computer, even from the same IP address, you wouldn't see "theOffice", you'd see the real address.

I guess this could be usefull if you often record runescape videos and you don't want to have to edit out your IP address everytime you change world while recording.

So instead of seeing you IP address all they could see is 'trolololol.com' or some other crap.

Is this possible on a Macbook? and if so could you please edit a macbook tutorial into your thread?

I would also like to suggest to keep a copy of the original hosts file in case you mess up. I recently saw a similiar tutorial on Sythe and changed my last logged in to JJ :)

Why, so you can hack them and rob them of the hard (or not so hard) earned rsgp?

Some will use the hostname rather than an IP. Like when I login (much like logging into IRC) It won't say 84.345.292.2 (or w/e). It will say rgen3.blahblah.virginmedia.com for example
