SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

So this has been happening for a while now… basicly I CANNOT start up Simba because whenever I login, the screen turns black and my mouse/nothing responds in smart. Sometimes I have to restart SMART 10-20 times in order for it to work. NOTE: I HAVE THE LATEST SRL/SIMBA VERSION, LATEST JAVA, NOTHING IS OUTDATED.
I am running on a 32-bit Windows7 computer, it's quite fast. Only about 1 year old.
I'm running Naracle's fast fighter, but all other script same to respond the same way.
Now, I've tried Ep!cb0t, and it worked perfectly no black screen. RSB0t is the same. However, I find those unstable atm and they can't run for 6hr+, so I really want to get simba to work! :(
Anyway, any help on what to do? Please, no trolling/flaming on Ep!cB0t or RSB0t. I'm only using them temporarily until I get Simba working again.
So yeah, can someone PLEASE help me? I'm really desperate as everyone else seems to have it fixed. :spot:

Make sure you have the correct graphic settings.

What are the correct graphic settings? :P I have it set on min, fixed, and safe mode.

Min, fixed, safe mode, all lowest settings, are proper. Safe mode is the important one.

I'm running on SMART Manager, and I still get the problem. I have it all min, fixed, safe mode. Can you give me the WHOLE list of small settings please? I'll post a vid/screenie later.

Not sure about the black screens (maybe your computer its self). As for logging in, you didn't have your brightness set to highest ;). In fact it was set to lowest brightness but I'm not sure if that only counts for in-game only or the loggin screen to ? (it's been a while :P) give it a try, it might work. I hope that helps or that you already have it sorted.

Still not working for me… I just redownloaded Simba again, updated everything, and nothing's working. :( Sometimes it works after 50 tries but I have to manually login or else I get the black screen. When SMART MANAGER starts it, it can't do anything because it gets a black screen also.

Ahh, I set it to highest, but still not working for me. I'm going to try it on my laptop and keep you updated. Thanks for the suggestion though. :P EDIT: Just tested on laptop, works like a charm. Okay, theres definitely something wrong with my desktop… still, my laptop's slow so sometimes it may crash out. Still accepting fixes if anyone has any.

Alright, it's not Simba's problem. I just restored my comp and now it works like a charm. Anyone know how to disable stats user/pass popup?

yes, you need to create a stats account. Really recommend doing it, as scripter's can see how man people are using their script.

Personally I don't use stats - I get my motivation from feedback.

Anyway, to remove it, simply open up the the script and press ctrl+f and then type in Stat. Now every line you find with Stats in it, just comment it out by typing in two '//' before the line.

Removing it prevents the scripter from seeing how much their script is used. If they did not want this info they would not have included stats in the first place. If you really don't want to sign up hit no on the first popup, and yes on the second. You should never see them again, and the script owner will still get his usage, and his script will still gain hours.

Alright thanks guys, I just have one last final question (and probably the most important.) I'm using Naracle's Fast Fighter, but the problem is I run out of food quickly so I have to constantly manually restart the script and babysit it, which is really annoying to me. I was just wondering how I could add a Guthans Switching to the script. Of course, I'll keep it private. ;)
Or, give me ideas on where I should train so I don't have to constantly restock on food? Currently I am using SMART MANAGER, botting on 2 accounts. One is 99 def, and other one is 70 def. So, if there's any training spots that are in dungeons (because often Simba fails randoms and there's no randoms in dungeons or wildy.) that'll be cool.

Oh, and, I want Fast Fighter to select the world before it logs in, because somehow it stops the script if the login exceeds. Oh, and the switched world has to be mems.

If you edit the script, you can post your modifications to his thread, and maybe he will incorporate them. As for that addition, modify the check hp methods, wherever they are, to find dtms of the armour in your inv.

I have almost absolutely no experience with SRL coding, so I don't understand what to do. Can you take a screenie of what it should look like? I just need to add it into Naracle's Fast Fighter so I can bot for infinite hours lol. :P I have no idea how to modify the check hp methods and the dtms of armor in inv. Oh, and I need it to switch back after Guthan's done healing so that I don't have to repair it. I would really appreciate if you took a screenie and helped me out on this one. I'll give you a 100-400hr proggie later on. ;)

I'm not gonna learn scripting, which is why I'm using Simba until RSBot comes out with the 6 hour bypass. I'm giving a proggie aren't I? Learning to script for me is like asking Obama to learn Chinese, I'm not learning to script just to use a bot until RSBot comes out, it'll take longer to learn than the time it'll save me. I'm not a script writer, and will probably never be. I'm just simply a person who enjoys RS but doesn't want to spend my hours training legit. Could you just show me how because you have lots more experience with this than me?

If you don't wanna help that's fine I'll just ask someone else. :(
