So I have been wondering for a while is the Elite or Regular Void better then Bandos, as far as I've heard void armor will always be better?



Opinions?

i use bandos and all my frends say bandos but honestly idk

i Say Void Since it Has 10% More Acc and Damage Or 15% The Only Bad Thing About Void Is The Defence While Bandos Has High Defence But At The Same Time its Expensive While You Can Get Void For Free But Takes Alot Of Time

It depends what you use it for bossing and slayer basically PvM I like bandos better. Low AT&T and str monsters and prayable monster along with soul wars I like elite voids better. It's more or less your option and feel to the game.

for PvM I would rather get bandos. But like someone said, it all depends on your personal preference.

bandos is better voids defence is terrible

for the rest, i always use void at bandos, zammy, corporeal beast duo, etc, kbd, etc .. and i can do infinite kill. Anyway, i'm never bringing food to gwd, you just need the BEST strenght bonus lol u can 2 hit the boss with claw x)

EDIT : i don't know why people always want the best def gear .. 125def/99 and turmoil with ss = no need def lol

I'm an avid PVM'er, and -
1) Void is SHIT at Corp, especially on a duo LOL (Unless you're Ac'ing/Crashing)
2) No food at gwd? What are you doing, massing?
3) Infinite Kill? Pfft, I'm a maxed melee main with Overloads/Turmoil and I can do a one and a half hour trip at corp, 60+ kills at gwd bosses.
4) Tell me when you can 2 hit ANY of the bosses with Claw Specs lol..

I personally prefer full bandos, i like the strength bonus more than i like void.
It depends where you are/what your doing..
At bandos i prefer bandos.
Frosts i prefer bandos.
Slayer i prefer bandos.
Arma i prefer Void (obviously)
WFS i prefer void.

It really depends on what other gear you're using to compliment the bandos or void, since void works off of percentages according to your current attack bonus and strength bonuses. Also depends what you're doing in general, are you bossing, training, what are you killing, etc.

What about using void for farming/training on one monster for hours on end.

+ thanks for the info was looking to hear a little more about elite void but it just got shot down into the dirt looks like Im sticking with bandos for now.

Edit: Read up alot on void elite + its better than bandos in every scenario, higher hits, more accuracy just less defense which really doesn't matter. Found out that bandos is only better with a whip/ddps if on normal prayer book otherwise void will always be better.

Bro I tank bandos all the time with Yak and stuff.. you DO need defence unless ur the one killing the magers and rangers.. There is no way in hell your even getting more than 10 kills in elite void soloing at bandos.. good luck with that. AND you know as well as I do that you cannot 2 hit Graardor at all.. No matter what u say, I'm never going to believe that. If u think that strength is everything well good luck on your next trip.

I really didn't want to get into this and start posting screenshots and stat bonuses etc. But I know I've had this argument before (even with myself) and I think I trust myself that there's a reason my void is starting to get dusty in my bank… (really only ever use it to range with)

Now for facts and numbers, etc. First will be comparing JUST strength bonuses with MAX strength bonus gear (torva has same strength bonuses, and I'm not going to buy PVP armour for this. :p ) Also will be using chaotic maul since it gives the greatest bonuses, and since void is percentage based, this will give void a slight advantage in statistics opposed to using any other weapon, such as a chaotic rapier, whip, or claws.

Bandos:

Void:

Conclusion:
Bandos has a higher strength bonus with +205 and void is only at +183. BUT with void's special bonuses it gives +10% to your attack and strength bonuses. 10% of 183 is 18.3. 183 + 18.3 = 201.3. So Void, with max strength bonuses, has less than bandos.

Onto attack bonuses:

Conclusion:
Bandos has a crush bonus of +207 and void has a crush bonus of +188. The same principle applies to void's affect, so 10% of 188 is 18.8, 188 + 18.8 is 206.8. So bandos wins again.

void is only useful for range, never use melee or magic with it ever there is far too many better options, but void with a deflector, it will always have less defence than bandos but gives a slight boost when useing CLS or CR
