Since Simba is easily the best bot, would anyone be willing to help me get it on my mac through Wine or VMWare?

Thanks

Last time i tried to set up the clients through wine or crossover they wernt supported but below is a very good option.

I would just recommend using bootcamp or parralel you can get the software for free on the internet and the setup only takes about 30 minutes and then you will have a Mac Partition | Windows Partition < can just switch between which system you want to run whenever you choose. Plus your windows side is going to be amazingly fast and bootcamping your mac wont bog it down in any way.

Hello,

Currently running parallels with a windows 7 partition. go to a *Cough* torrent *cough* site and look around. You'll most likely need to find serial key's to make them work. Also find those by just looking around the net. Also, if you go this route, don't register either parallels or windows as then you'll need to reinstall as you didn't purchase the programs. Hope that helps.

I just downloaded Wine(Bottler), installed and downloaded the Simba Installer. No problems at all :) Ask if you need some help.

Simba is not meant to be ran on a mac at this time. Your only real option is to use "Bootcamp" and install windows in a partion of your hard drive. I've tried Wine and Crossover and neither one will get it to work on a mac. Other than using Bootcamp you're SOL trying to run Simba on a mac.

Simba works like a charm under Wineskin Winery.
(wineskin version 2.5.5 and engine version WS9Wine1.5.5)

Best and reliable way: Bootcamp or Parallel.

I just bought Parallel for 80$ not just for simba, but also for school and the future. It's a great app where you can switch back and forth from MAC to Windows.

Although in order to use Bootcamp (built-in MAC) you must keep restarting your Macbook and hold down Option, to select which hard drive you would like to be on…Which is annoying.

Oh btw Windows doesn't come with the Parallel.
