I do not mean for this to advertise or condone this bot but this is a new color based bot in java. It is currently in alpha development and has two scripts for it.

Here is our first alpha release, the ColBot is still in development and this is mainly for script writers and to anyone who want's to contribute.

Seems like this piece of code is part of some type of Grand Exchange look up, but its strange how he doesn't hard code the link to runescape.com in there at all, fishy if you ask me.

Also lol'ed because half the source code is obfuscated.

Well, if what mormon says is true and they are from rscheat then yes because those guys made the nexus client.

Kool Rscheata was a actually a decent community back in the day, then power bot and epic bot came along.
Although their java bot probably is purely for money making purposes since you can not really sell an SRL bot without it getting pirated and shared.

Yeah, sadly the Javadocs are fairly empty. I'm going to hold off till their client is further developed. And as far as their reputation, yes, I'd say they're fairly trustworthy. They had quite a successful merchanting script running pre-Nuke. LB (the owner), ran one of the biggest non-commercial botfarms I had ever seen. He also is/was moderator/admin of many successful forums, including the community based around Perfecticus' scripts, who wrote some of the most successful scripts on the iBot platform. I'd say they're fairly reputable. However, that being said, I can almost guarantee you that their main focus is monetization. As was such with their Merchanting script ($10/mo). It was worth every penny though.

Exactly… and then gold farmers are going to resort to using things like this, when Injection and reflection finally become obsolete. Eventually Color will be impossible to bot without being banned because of the Wall's jagex will resort to putting in place.. so were all doooooome!!!!!D..

Well, with the demand for a good botclient being so high right now, it's so easy for someone to get a good following/community built up around a new project. But don't worry, this client is basically only to serve as a way to deliver premium scripts without fear of their source code being leaked. And they can write specific functions to help them with their script's functionality, namely the Merchanter. Just look at the Javadocs. Basically all merchanting related stuff right now, lol.

But don't worry, this client is basically only to serve as a way to deliver premium scripts without fear of their source code being leaked. And they can write specific functions to help them with their script's functionality, namely the Merchanter.

Regardless if the client serves as a way to only deliver premium scripts without fear of their source code being leaked, there will be people who will dedicate their time and effort to get that source by all means(provided that they even have good scripts, because as of now… they're very new and have minimal working ones).

Anyway… this war will never end due to people's greed, and it's going to be a constant battle for Jagex versus the bots.

No matter what their efforts are no bot client is going to be as big as nexus ever was in terms of sales.

Did you guys ever see Mark and Eric's home? That thing was a mansion and each of them had brand new BMW's.
