Yay finally here it is. My awesomness:

M-I-N-I-N-G P-O-W-E-R 7.1!!!

It Includes:
Anti-Ban
AntiRandoms
Multi-players
Finds Gasses and pickheads most of the time

Updates:
M-I-N-I-N-G P-O-W-E-R 7.0 - Massive re vamp of 7.0. Includes:
-Better and safer Ore finding
-More failsafes
-Should hopefully change player successfully
-Better gas finding….It won't randomly run away and it looks for gas before mineing now
-more anti randoms and as a result may be a bit more laggy
-added a hide public chat function which is optional. if u use this it will find if you mined an ore quicker which means quicker but as a result there will be no auto responder

M-I-N-I-N-G P-O-W-E-R 7.0 - Fixed a few bugs in proggy and and will now find anti-randoms if you're dropping ore….hopefully;)

Bugs
Err maybe change player not sure
Not sure about attaching pickhead

POST ALL PROGGIES AND BUGS!!!

Please Test even if only for a few mins and post a proggy and list any issues or bugs.
Read instructions at start of script….if the ore colour has to keep on being reset I might just go back to my oreecolor ways or figure out autocolor
Looking to make it banker for Varrock east mine. Currently have the walking just some really weird bugs that No ones been able to explain. Help on that would be great.
Thanks and have fun Macroing :sasmokin:

I don't have much time to test right now, but I have a comment.

I like the banker idea, but I suggest a different mine for the banker. Only because there are so many other bankers out there for the varrok east mine… the only real autominers are varrok east, varrok ess mine, and guild miner. Make something different.

how about gold miner + banker (or clay or whatever) in the crafting guild. There is probably already one of these. I say you should choose something with more variety than just iron, tin, and copper. alkarid has scorpions… so not there, um… does rimmington mine have anything good? I've never really mined there, so idk if they have any monsters or anything. There are also a few in lumby swamp, but they are really far away from a bank. and then there's the mine next to the champ's guild, which I think has silver. I just think you should try something that has something more than just the same-old 3 ores

maybe you could add a smelt feature or something… just mix it up a little and be creative. it's your script, so you should choose. I just wanted to throw some ideas out there for ya

@ n3ss3s Thanks glad you like it :D

@ rudeboi……it's a well known fact that summillion in fact edited that proggy from 54 minutes to 54 hours…….not that my script can't do 54 hours :D

@rbxslvr thanks for all those suggestions they're great….with the crafting guild what level crafting do you need…..that smelting one sounded interesting. I also thought of making it so it will find your mining lvl and if it's below 15 you start off at Varrock mining tin and copper, then once you hit 15 it automatically gets iron…then possibly after a certain mining lvl either walks or teles to a new place to mine….sure probly way out of my league but I might as well give it a shot….or I could make it so it mines X amount of ore and takes it to bank then when it reaches that amount it teles to Lumby smelts it and banks it…this would only work at var east tho but still……everyones thoughts….

if you wanted, you could also make it find it's way to the mine if it dies from a random (like a golem or something). may your league, but you'll get experience as you learn how to do more, and you may use ideas no one has ever thought of before. good luck, and happy scripting

so basically walk from lumby to wherever? Although i've never seen anyone die using my script so it might be a bit pointless…..although seeing as I'd end up in lumby then I might as well try the smelting thing cos that's in Lumby.

yeah… but it is possible to die, and it is… well, more anti-ban-like, to walk back to the mines when you die. more of a human characteristic. and the abaility to smith at random intervals would also be good, because it is not constant mining (pretty detectable). Anyway, what's a good autominer w/o a good autosmither:D But if you use an autoer for long periods of time, theres a good chance you could get off track and and end up somewhere that you can die (high level monster, wildy), or die from a random. Plus if it does find out you have died, you could have it automatically call the smithing function.

As you script this, you could make a rough copy of your script, post it, and let everyone post their thoughts on it, because many people have different (sometimes better) tecniques for doing things. Like I said, I could test it periodically to see where it gets off track and stuff. If I knew SCAR I would love to help you do some sort of dual-project thing that we both work on. But alas, I do not know SCAR. I'm gonna learn soon though.:D

nope… it stays at "waiting for pick swing" in the SCAR status bar thing. Why wait for the swing when you could (way more reliably) wait for the ore or the rock to turn grey… some sorta if-then statement… I don't know SCAR programming, so I can't really write that statement myself. something like "If 'copper ore in inv.' || 'rock turns grey' then 'choose different rock'. I'm not even certain that it is programmed to wait for the pick swing, but it doesn't do anything. It did like 4 rocks for me (it waited after the ores appeared in the inventory… :eek: ), then it just stopped. I set it to do 130 loads so that it could get some massive proggy or hit a random or something while I was gone… but nothing

Hmm thanks for testing it….that's totally weird It's never done that for me before and it has got a procedure that waits until the ore is mined and you need the swing pick for it….I'll go chek and edit…thanks

EDIT: Ok what ore were you mining I think it might be that you have to set the ore Colour for the rocks because it wouldnt work for me until I did that….it just flawlessly mined 2 loads and solved box and ran from gas…..so yeah try changing the colours

Like I've said before, I'm not going to pretend that I know scar… but why is that little "swing pick" thing in there anyway? Because if the rock turns grey then it should automatically try for a different rock… that pretty much covers it. If you wanted, you could get really "into it" and create an array that keeps track of all of the rocks in view, and mines the ones that turn grey less often… the ones that are not being mined by other players. I'm not saying that your code isn't good, by any means, just trying to throw some ideas out there for you to work off of. I may see what I can do with the code, seeing as I am experienced in other "real" programming languages (I use the term "real" like that, because scar isn't the most widely used programming language out there). I'd really like to incoorperate my little if-then statement into it instead of the swing pick

swing pick is in there to make sure that the pick head doesn't fly off, correct?… Instead, if the next rock says "you cannot mine this without a pick" or whatever, then it should realize the pick has no head, then look for it

EDIT: I just saw your edit, so I'll try that. I was mining copper. I'll try changing it.

PS: It sounds like you are pretty good with randoms, maybe you could add some to wizzup's ess miner *cough cough*… that's one of the miners I use regularly because it banks (really well). Wizzups scripts don't have many antirandoms for some reason (I think the only one is the abyssal teleport thingy)

2007-04-02 13:27:52

Lol ok here we go I'll explain the whole swing pick to you…..

function Mine: Boolean;
begin
repeat
wait(5 + random(5));
if FindObj(x, y, 'Mine', OreColor1, 1) then
begin
wait(5 + random(5));
Mouse(x, y, 0, 0, true);
wait(500);
OreMined := OreMined + 1
Stuff := Stuff + 1
Break;
end;
until (false)
end;

procedure UntilMined(Time: Integer);
var
timer: integer;
begin
Status('waiting for pick swing')
FindFastRandoms;
wait(700 + random(200));
if FindText(x, y, 'You swing your', smallchars, 18, 415, 477, 433) then
begin
marktime(Timer);
repeat
wait(700 + random(900));
FindFastRandoms;
FindPick;
FindGasses;
Reply;
until FindText(x, y, 'anage', smallchars, 20, 401, 477, 433) or
(timefrommark(Timer) > Time);
end;
end;

Ok here we have my whole mining procedure….Now you see in my mine function, the line that clicks the rock is:
" Mouse(x, y, 0, 0, true);"

after that there is a half a second break before it starts the swing pick thing…ok now the swing pick is part of the untilmined thing. What untilmined does is it waits till it see's "manage" in the RS chat box or the timelimit that you set has been exceeded. If it finds Manage then it will click on the next rock..Now while swing pick isn't necessary it speeds it up a bit..now if the swing pick wasn't in there it would click on the rock and wait until it found "manage" in the chatbox or the time ran out…but say it accidentally managed to miss click and didn't click on the rock then with swing pick it will wait about 1 and a half seconds and if it doesn't find swing pick then it assumes you havn't clicked the rock and it will click on the rock again….if it didn't have that it would wait until it found manage which of course it won't find because it didn't click on the ore so then it would have to wait 7 seconds or whatever you set the wait time to before it clicked on the next rock …this probly doesn't make sense but well I'm tired lol

did it really mine 1044 loads? that seems like alot for 1.75 hours…. lol, is that total for the entire script for anyone, or just me for that 1 1/4 hour?

I didn't look real hard, but I see this… "Loads2 := Loads2 + Loads;"

doesn't that mean
for 1 load, loads2 = 1
for 2 loads, loads2 = 3
for 3 loads, loads2 = 6
for 4 loads, loads2 = 10
……

going up from there… I googled 1, 3, 6, 10, and got a list of all of the following numbers

1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, 55, 66, 78, 91, 105, 120, 136, 153, 171, 190, 210, 231, 253, 276, 300, 325, 351, 378, 406, 435, 465, 496, 528, 561, 595, 630, 666, 703, 741, 780, 820, 861, 903, 946, 990, 1035, 1081, 1128, 1176, 1225, 1275, 1326, 1378, 1431

I think it only did about 45 loads (based on that ^)

it seems like the same thing happened with the ores… "OreMined2 := OreMined2 + OreMined"

why not just get rid of the oremined2 and loads2, and just (for the writeln function), use the original variables

I think the gasses avoided is right on track though (I don't think it really avoided that many, but I think it ran away that many times. It ran quite a few times)

EDIT: I think I realized why you used a 2nd variable… if you are using seperate players, you would need to, but the way you are filling the "loads2" and "oremined2" variables is still wrong. I'm going to change that and run the script again. I also noted that there is a "talked" variable that is unused in your report…. I'm going to add in a line on my copy of your script before I run it, so that I can also post the number of times it talked for me

rbxslvr

2007-04-02 18:07:05

I think this'll do it

Worked For : 1 Hours, 18 Minutes, and 30 Seconds
Mined :7 Loads
Ores Mined/Dropped : 492
Gasses Avoided : 8
Talked : 0

It logged in and out 3 times, which I believe reset the load number… so I divided 492 by 21 loads to find my average load, which is in the 20's, so… yeah.

I did find that the old man came while I was dropping stuff, and the script ignored him, I checked in again, and my player was fighting a rock golem (and getting owned, but he made it through), the auto-talker wasn't working well. Does the autotalker read the chatbox or the actual in-game screen, because I don't think it was visible in the in-game screen.

I'll keep testing it (I like it… the anti randoms and antibans are pretty awesome). I know I'm telling you about alot of little stuff that doesn't matter much, but I'm just trying to help you improve it.

EDIT: I think the oresmined2 is unneeded, and the line that gives loads2 it's value should be in the line directly before loads is reset to 0… I'm making those changes and running it again (set to do 2 loads each login, so I can figure out if it works)

Dude thanks so much for all your feedback! yeah I just ran it overnight and got a really weird proggy I'm going to take a look at it now….I remember there was a need for loads2 at some point I'm not sure If I need it now…thanks again

Also the talk thing doesn't work for me…I'll check if it's looking in the chat box and I'm gonna somehow add anti randoms in the dropping procedure……if it's possible…..also it's worked on fighting randoms for me so what was your player doing at the time was he mining, dropping or what?
Also with the gas thing it does that for me to…it's pretty sensitive…like if you're wearing something gas coloured it will run or if it sees anything gas coloured…..it does it about 1 per 2 loads for me I think….but the great thing about it is that is hasn't missed a gas for me yet

I'm not sure what he was doing, probably dropping, or perhaps fighting/talking to another random (it could happen). I didn't see him start fighting, but results from what I have seen, lead me to believe he wasn't mining at the time…

I'm pretty sure my theory about the triangular sequence with the 1,3,6,10,15, 21, 28 (or whatever, don't feel like doing math right now) is correct. the only problem is that the number didn't come out to be a number in the pattern. anyway, the I mentioned that loads2 and oresmined2 may be from multiple players, because everytime it logs out, it needs to add "loads" to "loads2", because loads2 is the total, but loads is just how many that one particular player has mined, and loads gets reset to 0 every login

I'll try that now. The talker sorta worked for me… the only time it said anything was after the old man (I only saw this once)… It said "Stupid old man"… the only problem with that is, I don't see that anywhere in yhe code, so I must assume that it is in the antirandom include for the old man

EDIT: nice, looks like you shrunk up the code a little by only using the RK thing once, but good for you, the auto talker was the least of the problems

you could use some sort of trigger, to find out what isn't working… the reading of other people's text, or the typing of oyur own. in that giant if-then statement with all of the variants of "mining lvls?", add in something that you can reproduce already, like "if oresmined = 12", because then when you hit 12 ores it should say ur mining lvl, and if not, it's the reading that is a problem.

I know that isn't proper syntex, but oh well

I think it is right, because I had the first 3 lines of my inv. filled (12/28 slots) with junk, leaving only 16 places open. 189 (number of ores) / 12 (loads) = 15.75 ores per load… which is close enough to 16 for my liking.

is there a reason that the end of ('Smelting lvls') there is only one close parenthesis but on all of the mining chats there are 2 close parentheses. im no scripting expert but this seemed wierd
EDIT
tested, did nothing

so it logged in perfectly, set the compass angles, then it found the pickhead color and stopped. it automatically logged out- i waited for 5 minutes then stopped it. could it be that i need to manually set the colors?

hmmm….that's weird did u set ur nick properly? I'll check what randoms I have in that bit. You were mining correct?

thx for the proggy btw

EDIT: Ok I've added better randoms finding so download again…It should work if it doesn't then ur setting up ur nick incorrectly….as a result it may be a bit more laggy and if that happens then I will think of a new way of doing them…I'm sorry about the lack of updates but atm I am working on about 3 scripts at once and juggling homework at the same time…so please be patient as this will soon become a varrock east miner

Anyway great script, very useful. There is one major bug: if you are mining with a rune pick, you mine so fast it dosn't check for gas. My rune pick broke twice and I had to get it repared for 1.1k. I think ill stick with the bronze until a new version gets out. It also sometimes loggs out after 1-2 hours and i try to type my pass in since the script isn't doing it, but the window dosn't have focus and it dosn't get it until you end the script and restart it. This is a bit annoying since you have to do it every 1:30 hours. Im planning on getting to 85 with this baby :)

Ill try to record the proggys from now on.

EDIT: BIG UPDATE! READ THE UPDATES BIT ON FIRST POST!
Tell me how multi player works out and any bugs

It's because you're using the new SCAR Divi and the new SRL 3.7. This is for the old SCAR 2.03 and the SLR 3.6. . .as stated above.
