So I recently secured a job for the summer working in the USA (I'm from UK) for 11 weeks, after this I plan to travel for a few. Combining this with the fact that my end of year exam period is starting soon and I really need to get some serious work done in order to get the grades I want I don't think I will be around here very much for a while.

I will probably still frequent the forums until may but I know that I wont have any time to work on any projects or script for definite.

I will be back in September though don't worry ;) (no one cares) this time I'm not just going to disappear for 3 years. My plan for after the summer is to release some scripts that people may actually want to use so keep you eyes peeled.

oh and if any of you american's can suggest good places to visit in the NE please let me know since I have no clue what I'm going to do.

Oh wow, what a trip for sure. So what's the job that's important enough to fly abroad for? If you don't mind my asking that is. :p In any case I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. :) Do drop by whenever you get the chance and give us an update on your situation.

its actually a very unimportant job :P I'm working as a speedboat driver and water ski/wake-boarding instructor. It's not really the best pay I could earn much more staying at home, especially when you add in costs of flights! I'm only just 19 though and its really the only way I can afford to travel this summer.

Besides it has some serious positives, I don't have to pay for accommodation at all and I will get 3 meals cooked for me every day.

That sounds like an amazing opportunity, to be honest. What part of the NE region will you be at? I have been up there a few times, but I only know the big tourist spots.

I'm working in Maryland, I have never met any of the people I'm working with but I have been put in contact with them through facebook so we have decided to head to new york for a few days probably Philadelphia and we are considering heading up to niagra falls too.

I'm not sure if we will be renting a car or just using buses/trains but everywhere is pretty accessible.

Niagara falls is beautiful! I highly recommend it.

niagra falls is amazing.
I live in the same state as Philadelphia is in. It's about an hour and a half away!

Sounds like a pretty legit trip. Enjoy your time State side! We'll miss you @ SRL though.

not 21 can't get in :( I don't want to use a fake ID since if I get caught it will void my visa
