I'm not sure what the Gp per hour is but, I think Smelting rune would be pretty profitable this way.
And as I got 85 Smithing recently I'm most likely gonna make one in the near future.
Seriously tho what do you guy's think? Is it worth it
I have only seen video's and have not tried it yet.

Doesn't the blast furnace mean it's less coal to use to smelt steel+ bars?

Yes! I love blast furnace legit! It saves so much gp per xp. If you make runite bars it would have to walk all the way back to the bank in keldagrim if im not mistaken though… I jut used to make mithril bars into arrow heads. Great xp and made a small amount of gold an hour.

I thought about making this, it would be good smithing exp cheaper. It would not plummet prices, there is a great # of supplies and demand for this activity. Maybe an artisans workshop would be a good script.

Yes but if a script would be make people would obviously take advantage of it and start gold farming. I voted yes, but you should keep it available to SRL Members only I think :P (Depending on the profit)

This really is not a very good method for gold farming… and if anything it will make the cost of resources rise which is better for us and the legits.
